I personally don't mind if someone thinks I am a stupid stoner because I know that I am still probably smarter than that person.

You gotta remember, these people are douchebags and there is no reason to give in to their drug abuse. :|
 
I was just kidding of course. :)

I've smoked enormous amounts of THC though, and I'm pretty stupid.

The reason for this "drug" anomaly where certain drugs are banned and some are allowed and taxable is because drugs make you smart drugs make you question the society that we live in (psychedelics do anyway)and make you wonder just why the fuck the people in charge are............ the fuckin people in charge. Alcohol, tobacco, Valium, methadone, tiazepam, codeine, younameitadeine. None of these make you think. I know many people will disagree with me but thats my opinion.

Not just drug related. It's a very human thing. Get over it. Fighting ignorance is pretty much a waste of energy, and getting frustrated over it is possibly worse.

They either cheated and lied themselves into that position, took it with violence, or inherited the position from someone who used either method.
Exceptions are both very rare and short-lasting.

Would you really be offended if someone started doing those drugs at your party?

What if those people were better able to control themselves than the people who were drinking at your party?

I don't have an issue with anyone doing drugs in my presence as long as they can handle themselves, and this goes with all substances legal or otherwise. I'm not going to discriminate against people just because their drug of choice happens to be different from my own.

Just a general statement:

I find it really funny that there are some people who want to be accepted as drug users, but they absolutely refuse to accept anyone who is different from themselves. *sigh*

Ptah: I'm assuming you were listing various groups that some people feel superior to; and that you were speaking in character rather than giving your own opinion...a couple of people have interpreted your post as being racist, which I don't think it is, but you might want to re-think the use of 'nigger', given how offensive that term is to many people :)

But to stay on topic ... there are these anti-socialites who go to a party to have a place just to do their drugs. You know the kids that no one invited because they have an out of control addiction so they show up anyway, then sit in the corner of the room with each other doing their heavy drugs ... if I was throwing a party, I would tell them to beat it. If I am getting busted by the 5-0 I don't want anyone leaving their burnt spoons and syringes laying around my house.

OK... anyone who thinks Ptah's post was racist is not only thin-skinned to the point of transparency but is a fucking idiot to boot. It could not be more obvious that he was not denigrating anyone, but rather taking to task those who consider themselves "superior" to the groups named.
