Honestly the most embarrassing time for me was when I was deep in my Ketamine addiction. I had a 2g a day ish habit, frequently combined with benzos and it had just been Halloween so I had been doing all manner of party drugs throughout the week (md, coke, booze) and my body was just wrecked and dehydrated. I had K cramps so bad I couldn't move out of bed and sometimes I would use oxy to help with the pain but I got those from my friends mum who didn't have any currently spare. Xanax/Valium had been masking the feeling pretty well but I was starting to run dry so I had the genius idea of cold water extracting a bunch of cocodamol pills that I always kept in supply. I was clearly too fucked up/too impatient/too uneducated and I ended up doing it wrong. Woke up with what felt like my K cramps had just skyrocketed 100x and they were already pretty fucking bad. I genuinely felt like I was dying. I asked my friend if she thought I could go to hospital and she told me yeah. Which, considering I spent most of my time stuck in bed from K cramps anyway, I decided meant that I must have looked pretty bad. I got to hospital and it was during social distancing so I was in the queue which I had to continually leave and rejoin to go puke in the bushes. It felt like it lasted for a fucking eternity. When I got seen I was given IV morphine for the pain and had bloods done, I had to be kept in for 3 days on a NAC supply because I'd done a number on my liver. Like one does I immediately went back to doing ket after I got out, FML!
Oh also literally 2 days ago. Hit up my old K plug I haven't used in years as I missed his stuff. I got 2g from my usual guy and 2g from him, just in case it wasn't worth it. I was travelling from my partners to my parents off the back of a huge argument and generally just going through it, snorted a few huge lines of each in the train station toilets. I was trying to book my ticket home but I was ketty as fuck and my phone was annoying me, carrying 3 heavy bags so I sat down by the barriers. Then apparently passed out. Woke up to the police and medic team asking me for my emergency contact number and name, put me on a wheelchair and took me into the medic room. In those moments with the police I was so so SO confused, I was genuinely questioning if I was just tripping so much I was going insane and questioning what the fuck could have possibly happened to warrant 3 police around me. They called my mum to pick me up and it was humbling to say the least.
