I hate waiting for the postman.

A private individual who doesn't own their own business with a po box isn't the least bit suspicious.......
I'm sure no crime or terrorists have ever had that idea!!��

In all seriousness though how would having a po box vet your mail quicker.....it still has to come via the shit royal mail.

I was sent a piece of black tourmaline from someone at spiritualforums n that was mesnt to come before Christmas LOL. It arrived YESTERDAY!!!!

Hmm, maybe. Germans now are making their own movies coming out as better guys comparing to what we grew up knowing about the II War..
It will take more than few movies to change that around. The are becoming blame free from these past years.
Now they can honestly say things against immigrants - not acceptable 10-15 years ago or less.
 
I get what you're saying, and it's scary to see some of the recent developments over there.

Then again, for how long should a country make a grand gesture of apologising for the atrocities that were committed in its name by people who are nearly all dead?

Britain has never apologised for atrocities which occurred decades after the war, nor has Turkey acknowledged its own genocide, and let's not get started on the US.

It's sad, but people forget.
 
I have a lot of sympathy for German people regarding the way an entire population was unfairly blamed for the actions of a relatively small number....lots of German troops behaved very honourably during the war....the paratroops (particularly heydte's 6th paratroop regiment) fought very fairly and honourably......least said about the waffen ss the better though lol!��

It sounds like you haven't watched the mini-series in question. In no way does it sanitise what the Germans did, quite the opposite. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Nobody will ever say that the Germans from that time were "blame free", not even the Germans themselves, apart from neo-Nazi idiots who are a tiny minority (we have our own versions of them here too).

As Sammy touches on, when do you think us Brits will apologise to the entire planet for the Empire & colonialism, genocide, racism, slavery, arbritrarily making up "borders" where none existed before (except on tribal lines), and the fact that we are pretty much responsible for much of the middle east's problems?

It would be useful to know which country you live in, Erikmen, so your comments can be put into context. :)

Nah, it's ambiguous. "We" could apply to anyone. I don't need to tell you how many other countries were involved, on both sides.

True but i meant his many other posts about being in Berlin and some of the things he said in the ww2 thread......i could be wrong ...then again I'm never wrong...the only time I was ever wrong was the time I thought I was wrong but it turned out I was right....������
 
The amount of time I spend checking the tracker on my royal mail tracked packages is fucking beyond limits.

Like watching a stopped clock, yet I still fucking do it.
