I really enjoyed Generation War the fact it showed the horror of the Eastern Front and the impossible choices and compromises the characters had to take to try and survive was well written.
The 2 brother's storyline was pretty moving they way they both changed should been longer.
On the German paratroopers fighting with honour they didn't in Cyrete where my great unkle died, they rounded up and shot anyone they thought were in the resistance from 14-60 male or female. He died their fighting the German para's.
Any way with the pvt Mail are ok with R.C's coming to the house can the new privatised RM do this now.
Hi, I was wondering if someone could advise on a certain dilemma...
A friend of mine recently ordered off a certain marketplace that was shut down in the last few days (I'm sure you can guess which one!). Some of the goods were delivered (all through different sellers) but one of the packages didn't arrive on time and he got a card from the Royal Mail saying there was insufficient postage, as a postage fee hadn't been paid.
There are 3 ways to pay to receive the package - online over debit/credit card, in person, or affixing the correct number of stamps to the card and posting it back. The package isn't in his name, but rather, he used a name of an existing tenant of the flat he's currently living in.
Does this sound like an honest mistake and worth pursuing (using the anonymous 'affixing postage stamps to the card and getting it redelivered' method) or does it sound too risky? There's £120 at stake + almost 2 dozen green round things. Seems to him that it would be a bit amateurish to forget to pay the correct postage fee (£1.11 outstanding) but he also would hate to lose out if it was indeed a fault of the seller and the package is sitting there innocently waiting for him!
Any wisdom/suggestions/thoughts welcome![]()
