I'm smiling for a few different reasons today. I'm back baby, after a week of sickness and general blah. ;)

  1. Frankie is out. Hoo-freaking-rah!
  2. We're having a cupcake and sprinkler party on the weekend for someone's second birthday. :D
  3. We made the most awesome pumpkin, fetta, baby spinach, pine-nut, cherry tomato, rosemary and garlic pizza last night - and I have some of it for lunch.
  4. I have pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries. So tasteh.
 
I bought a new Paul Smith suit today and it fits so perfecto its like i'm wearing nothing at all (flanders)
 
Im writing my application for TAFE and I am a fucking genius interweaving the relationship between my past degree (psychology) and my current desire (design) with my own personal career goals.

Fucking genius I tell ya.

I know this makes us really freakin' old but that would be one of my greatest days ever too. A girl I know was the stylist for the Bright Eyes section in Frankie as well. Nice one, lovie.

I'm about to go eat a $10 pub special, see my friend play at the Gaelic Club, and then do all those things which are better left for weekends. Thursday nights are the new green. Oh and a postcard from NYC to add to my collection. I love postcards.

I'm not exactly smiling because I'm down in the dumps at the moment, but my boyfriend has been great in helping me as best he can. Even though he's finding it hard to deal with my extreme depression, because he's an upbeat person who is lucky enough to have never been severely effected, he's contacted all of my friend's who have dealt with tough times who know how to handle it.

Thanks to two bluelighters, breaka.. your call yesterday got me to the doctors. And thanks also to Raz for offering to leave work early to be with me. Thanks to my parents for canceling their trip to Queensland this weekend, even though it was already paid for. I feel a bit self-centered, but the effort you've all put in makes me feel really cared for, and I have needed that. I am lucky to have all of you, and I need to always remember that <3.

As a fairly chronically depressed person I find it fairly hard to deal with the eternally optimistic...

waves - being in the water again is the best feeling in the world... even though i didnt catch said waves coz it was fuckin massive and i was shitting myself 99% of the time while i was out there.

its saturday, and im not at work, i start my new job on Monday and well... im over the fuckin moon about it

and im seeing strassman tonight, something i have wanted to do since i was like a kid... and now im finally doing it... at the bears last show... hopefully it wont be like Sonic Animation and do like a few farewell tours...

Haha I went to see Urthboy last night and although I only got to see two songs I had a humour filled night anyways.

The girl I went with made out with me, passed out on my shoulder and then woke up and vomited into a cup. So we left and then she vomited on the ferry on the way back to hers. Haha alcohol is fun.

We did see a Burlesque show before hand though which was fucking cool (but strange and disturbing as well).

Spielgetent is the bomb :)

I'll have another HOTMK night again soon. ;) <3

Today was spent at the Danks St Fest and the Monet exhibition. Now I'm home with a bottle of rosé. Absolutely perfect Sunday!
