I am absolutely stoked with next year's Big Day Out lineup.
I am peeing my pants at the thought of seeing: Neil Young, Arctic Monkeys, The Prodigy [again], My Morning Jacket, Pendulum, Simian Mobile Disco, The Ting Tings, Cog [again] + Birds of Tokyo.

There's not even one artist I'm excited about. I've seen TZU twice (opening for other acts) and enjoyed them but that's the closest I am to excitement. I'll still try get a ticket anyways, just to get fucked up in a large crowd. Doesn't happen often.

i had the best wednesday night in history

picked up some cid, picked up my parklife ticket, saw my dad, ate chinese, saw a mate who was back from the UK... went to does it offend you yeah for free... laughed at the singer from faker being in the crowd... laughed harder when har mar superstar jumped into the pit at the end and crowd surfed... laughed extremely hard when walking out we run into the guys from art vs science who we abused and became friends with on friday night...

Ladytron last night were freaking awesome and I am now officially in love with the Tivoli. It's beautiful, decadent and full of Just The Right Amount of people. It looked full to the absolute brim but amazingly there was still room to move!

We grooved the night away and sat down toward the end when our old granny feet got tired. I was amazed to find pitchers of water with plastic cups on the bar! BEST IDEA EVAR. :D

The music was flawless, and they played my favourite track Playgirl and Busty's fave' Destroy everything you touch. It was a great concert all in all, even with the late night that went with it.


Oh, and another smiley - we're going to Japan next year. Cherry blossoms! Sake! Sushi! Sashimi! Harajuku girls and boys! Everything I love.

i missed it... but i am glad it was awesome. I am in love with the tivoli too... i love the fact that there is room to chill out and wherever you stand you can pretty much see and accoustically it is good too. And it looks lovely as well

And yes! they have always had free water on the bar when i have been there - which is kind of a rare thing to find at gigs nowadaysi have found.


I am smiling cause i have been given a ultra awesome project at work that i can really sink my teeth into....

We have mother duck and her 11 baby ducklings come to live in our backyard. Mother duck took them for their first swim in our pool yesterday morning, and because the pool is in-ground, and the water is below surface level, the ducklings were unable to get out.

We aided them by providing a boogie board for them to climb up, thinking they'd get out and go home. But no, they get up, waddle around the pool for a bit, and then cruise back down into the water again for another dip. We've had to secure the boogie board to make sure it doesn't blow away in the wind when we're not home.

They are so cute.

Sydney has had that for like ever so that 'non-drinkers' at clubs don't keep hassling the bar staff for free water. Strangely last time I went to a club in Melbourne they wouldn't give me water but gave me a glass of ice instead.

I went kayaking today at Barrington tops. 12KM and I'm not even feeling a slight sting in the arms. So working out has paid off lately

I drank beer the whole time and came up with a genius way of securing my beer in my life jacket so it didn't spill when tackling rapids.
