One of my best friends had an awesome birthday and i am starting to regain focus. For anyone who doesn't know what i have been going through that won't seem like much but for me it's smile worthy for once..
 
I bought a once-off 'second' dress from here yesterday. I can't even begin to describe how wonderful and sexy it is.
I've been looking for a dress for a wedding I have coming up in November, and this fit the bill exactly as well as being only $70, completely original [as it was a mock-up] and the fact that I can dress it up with an ornate choker or fascinator. =D

+ I had the most amazing banana beer at the Belgian Beer Cafe yesterday. Yarmy. I could live off that shit.
 
We went and bought a hall runner and new rug today :D God ive missed carpet...and i gave our kitten a bath. It was....wet. All in all it was a good day actually. new years is creeping closer and summer is fast approaching. :D
 
My brother said i looked really nice today!

I know that weird but usually my brothers relish in telling me how fat ive gotten or how i need to wear more makeup but today at my nieces first birthday he said
"Wow Aims, you look really nice today"

For me that made me smile, cos i know it must have been true! Yay!
 
I went into work today at the cafe, yes cafe I work at to be told about what is really happening about those rumours of a staff party. They developed from going bowling which we would pay for ourselves, to actualising into meeting at St Kilda marina and going on a cruise with en masse of bbq seafood and drinks and stuff...all paid for... yay! OMG, I <3 my job ! Now I just gotta find something killer to wear next monday night !
 
Haha the staff party at my work went from one year at a swanky golf club with 6 beers provided to the next year at a bowling club with 2 beers provided. This I think was mainly because our work place was told we were not welcome back at the golf course, because two people, one of which may have been me, threw chairs off the 3 story balcony onto a green.

I so nearly got fired for that but the hammer never came down and it was never figured out who was responsible. Rarely, complex bureaucracy is a good thing.
 
Heh. I had a work cruise the other week and it was pretty shite. Bad "cocktail" slushies, goon and Tooheys new. We ended up buying a fuckload of shots just to avoid drinking the crap that was free. Good food though.

I'm smiling because the house is clean, I'm drinking pure blondes and my friend is just about to get here with pizza. No work tomorrow. Awesome.
 
Yeah there is only about 12 staff members and my boss is pretty flashy so Im pretty sure wont denigrate into that.

I don't know if this is a smile but i really love my mum, after all we've been through she judges none and supports until the end. I guess i'm lucky in some ways others can't conceive and unlucky in others which they can't. If that makes any sense, i'm always so abstract in these smile/frown threads these days:\
 
Not working today and hanging out with my sister in Sydney made me smile :)

i'm on the countdown to a week of holidays with my family and then seeing some of my best friends :D also, we have an inspection of our unit while I'm away, so it'll be the boy's responsibility to make sure everything's spic and span!

i've also started planning our client christmas party at work, which is awesome because party planning is fun, and it means i have less time to allocate to doing tasks i don't like!
