Bodgie: the Billy Bailey show was pretty good, though ours seats were a bit shit. I preferred the Dylan Moran show that was earlier in the year but my boyfriend preferred Billy Bailey so I think that's down to personal taste.
 
I was at the pool this arvo... I had a ten dollar note in my pocket but lost it when I was practising turns.

I got out and looked for it, but couldnt find it. I asked a little 6 or 7 year old boy to have a look for the note under the water with his goggles. And he found it and retrieved it for me! :D

He was swimming his little heart out trying to help so I offered to buy him a bag of lollies, but he thanked me, and said no :D

I slept through most of it but it did seem quite nice from what I could see through the blinds =D

I'm smiling because I got my tax return and an unsolicited gold credit card so now I can buy things like friends and love!

I'm smiling today as I arrived at work super-early and sent off a few business related emails. This makes me look super conscientious and hard-working even though it was all due to Busty needing to get to work in a hurry. :p

I'm also smiling because I have my most favourite vampish red nail-polish on today. It always makes me feel like a sex-kitten. :D<3
 
My niece Bella has a well deserved nick name BELLOW. She slept for 12 hours straight last night, first time that has happened in the 6 months shes been around.
Also Pepe has established herself as matriarch of my household by pairing with both my dad and my boyfriend.

Being a diabetic has not slowed her down much at all it seems. How a lorikeet can develop that is beyond me. :p
 
What a great weekend.

Finished up our big show with a bang, after all the late nights, it was all worth it for 2 hours of viewing pleasure and everyone saying what an awesome show it was! :)

Afterparty ran smoothly and we ended up staying out at a south melbourne club until the wee hours of the morning (havent done that in a long time)

Saturday capped off nicely with a win from the hawks - yay the underdogs! And an awesome bbq with mates. And today instead of being shit scared that my contract ends on Friday, i have had offers to work with film companies and on the Spring Racing Carnival - YAY!
Everythings coming up roses....about bloody time!

Smile: good weekend camping. Even though i had to come home a day early due to work (BOO!)
Smile: dinner with KK friday night...MEXICAN!!!!! =D
Smile: QLD trip with KK starting to take some form of shape...well we will know next week...
Smile: my dad sent me a birthday card. All though a week or so late it made me warm. I thought he had forgotten again...
 
I am absolutely stoked with next year's Big Day Out lineup.
I am peeing my pants at the thought of seeing: Neil Young, Arctic Monkeys, The Prodigy [again], My Morning Jacket, Pendulum, Simian Mobile Disco, The Ting Tings, Cog [again] + Birds of Tokyo.

PLUS to make me all the more smiley, a colleague of mine just happens to have contacts at Ticketek and is going to get us TWO TICKETS. Hells yes. :D

Aaaand to add to the smiles, I picked up my $70 EBay special exercise bike last night. It's practically new, hardly used, and has working calorie counting computer. Wahoo!

I have 40 bars of Toblerone fruit and nut and the new NCIS is on. Weeee!!
 
My friend's band The Maladies scored an opening spot for Root! (pretty much my favourite Aussie band at the moment) in December. It's going to be a fucking awesome gig. Also it's at The Vanguard, (sweet little venue that is pretty much all seating, but very close and intimate) and this time I'm going to get a fucking table with some friends, screw the balcony.

its just sinking in that im going to parklife on sunday...

not only is there an awesome line up, but i get to catch up with a certain friend i havent seen and im going to be over the moon because of said friend...

plus the copoius amount of "stuff", the music and laughing at kids that dont know which way up is...
