Bought a siiick new stereo today... Love Sony stuff!

Edit: I just laughed for the last 5 minutes because I have so many remotes in my house now! Like half a dozen that I can think of... I really need one of those Logitech Universal remotes :D

The Sydney MGMT show sold out in less than a minute today but I got four back dancefloor this morning and four back dancefloor in the presale!

Now I've just got to wait for fucking December!

edit: Holy shit. The tickets are already selling for $150 - $200 on ebay. That's so fucked. God I hate scalpers.

im happy for a few reason

ones... i did say yes to up all nights tickets to mgmt... then i decied since it is all ages, and im an asshole... im not going to go...

and i just say gyroscope... they were awesome... i now have 2 drumsticks and 2 guitar picks :D

A living example of "you get what you give".

A few minor revelations on my part this week put me in a good mood, plus going over to a friends place for a bonfire and seeing a lot of faces I hadn't seen in ages. I'm trying to learn to let go of the things I can't control and just ride the wave of life, it's harder than it sounds for someone like me. Less thinking and more doing is going to be the order of the coming year.
 
did anyone else get the emails from 3D world when their email bot went mental. They sent an apology email once they fixed it... it made me smile

So it appears that our email-bot had a nervous breakdown last night and sent many of you multiple emails with the account details of other users.

Yes, we suck.

Please accept our most humble apologies for any spam-like emails you received, and know that the IT guy responsible has been taken out the back and shot, repeatedly.

The web team is currently working over time to resolve this issue. Needless to say, everyone affected will be provided with new accounts and passwords as soon as possible.

In the meantime, if you did receive other people's email addresses, please immediately delete them - permanently. Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you, etc.

Life is just really good right now. I have everything I need. I just need to stop being such a shit friend and call people and write them back. Other than that I really feel like Ive found my true... path ? omg, I sound like a wanker ??

Yeah, everything in its right place.
 
I fucking love my job. Week one and every day I'm there I'm surrounded by creative, young, funky, flexible, driven [did I mention creative?] people who are all approachable and intelligent.
The industry is entirely new to me but I'm picking it all up quickly and with minimal stress. The workload will be a step up from anything I've ever dealt with before but I'm really looking forward to the challenge.

One of my bosses bought everyone a block of organic chocolate the other day just for a random treat.

Oh, and my shiny new silver car [with sunroof and spoiler and inbuilt GPS] is making me grin every day I drive to work. It runs like a freaking dream. And it only takes me twenty minutes to get into work! /Falls over. So. Fucking. Happy. =D

Brisbane is a cool city. I am coming up to the Picasso on Tuesday, I cant wait to hit the cd shops :D
 
^Picasso is the bomb. There's another one in the same area by some bloke but can't remember who it is....still worth seeing and it's free too.

Make sure you do some laps at the southbank beach. I love that place. You swim with tourists then eat a fruju on the grass while checking out the sights. Great place....

I met with some diving mates tonight and worked out where all the sharks are. Cool!! Roll on summer.

About 10 hours till I fly to Melbourne. Yay :D

Very happy that I get a weekend off work, and really looking forward to meeting some very cool Bl'ers <3
 
i wouldn't say this is so much a smile but my best mate who's just lost his license needs me to drive him around for a week or two as of next week. giving me the rights to his car and i'll be stayin at his place. hopefully either one of his brother will be around some of the time and some of their friends. he lives about 25mins from where i live. it's odd cause his place is still the same town yet its separated by 2 diff highway roots.

the good side is he the manager of one of the pubs around here so i always get good priced if not free drinks from him. the downside to this is i'm not on my opens yet which means i can't have a drop of liquor in me (and keep my dui intact), also he gets pretty fucked hours which means picking him up 3-4am.

fucks me how im going to study:\

Is that the Sidney Nolan exhibition mate? I have heard it is good, and my dad likes him so double bonus.

I have swam at Southbank when I was a kid, I wonder if it will be warm? I will more than likely just catch a bus to the Gallery and walk into town after then catch the train back to my sisters. :)
 
this week i celebrate my ~18th~
