a lot of you guys are comparing apples and oranges when considering the 'strength' or 'potency' of triazolam.
When saying 0.25 triazolam is equivalent to 10mg of diazepam or 0.5mg klonopin/xanax that is more in terms of setting up a taper for getting off benzos. Triazolam is short acting and primarily sedating. Klonopin is medium acting, xanax is short acting but both are primarily anxiolytic rather than sedating. There's no set in stone guide for x amount of halcion = y amount of xanax or klonopin becasue they are different drugs used for different things.
Using the charts to compare sedatives to anxiolytics is just an abuse of statistics.
I agree that you should start, if you do start at all (which I don't condone), with 0.125mg if you ca get scored 0.5mg tablets (idk if they actually make 0.125mg tabs)
Benzo addiction is not a road you want to go down - I am currently just beginning a benzo taper to get of them. Started using them for sleep about 2.5 years ago.
