yeah, I inject heroin and meth. I've injected other things before but those are my regular, daily ones (DOCs). and I definitely got addicted to the needle right from the start. I'll inject small amounts of sterile water when I don't have anything left and I need to slam something. :/

Right now I've been clean a week and it'll be another week until I get the money to score. I'm fiending like crazy. >_<
 
Yesh, I inject meth and love the intense rush I get. It's so fucking strong that I become animalistic during the rush. I love taking that hot needle in me and then going off like a mother fucker.
 
^^me begging you not to IV a drug would be an understatement. Please please don't. Especially dilaudid. Its the crack of opis especially when IV'd.
 
Started off injecting oxy, then moved on to heroin, then stims like methylone and meph and finally when I couldn't score gear I did MXE, which works surprisingly well at stopping the urges for gear. I try not to shoot anything now, but it's easier said than done....

Agree 200% with both of those statements.

To answer the original thread question: yes, I used to IV. I would IV dilaudid, loved it.
 
i inject myself daily 1-4 times depending if i have a good stash but atleast once a day to ease the sickness.minimum 40mg of hydromorphone. my tolerance is really high because of fent
 
interesting what would it be like to shoot h and dilaudid at the same time? i bet that would be the ultimate combo. has anyone done this?

Its a fantastic combo really. Get the rush of the dilaudid and the legs of the h. Need to be careful with it as its easy to have an acute overdose.
 
How many of you inject and have no shame?

I enjoy the needle and the rush very much. I smoked meth for eight long years before I ever became curious about IV use. I feel like I have graduated to the most pleasurable and dark ROA there is. I get a sick sense of gratification whenever I push off my large dose deep inside of my vein and then rush so hard I can barely take it. I love it rough and intense and the needle looks damn nice as I slip it up inside of me. The RUSH is fucking hardcore on me to where I grunt loudly and shake and it is amazing. I am all too aware that IV use is stigmatized very badly; we're not all crazy addicts that steal and live on the streets. I am a functional user that likes it really hard when I do use. I see nothing dirty or shameful about IV drug use when it's done correctly and safely. In fact, I find it arousing from the needle's injection to the hard fucking rush I love.
 
Been injecting since I was 17, now 23. I love it but I hate it, I had a shot of meth a few hours ago but heroin and opiates were my main thing. I am scheduled to go into detox in the next few weeks for Xanax then do a long rehab stint to get me off suboxone and stop using other drugs. I still use heroin occasionally, I mainly use meth these days because of the suboxone but both heroin and meth have different but equally as powerful effects on a persons life. I somewhat managed my heroin habit for quite a number of years, same with the oxy before than but the last year ive been OD'ing and hitting it pretty hard, nearly killed myself a few times so for me IV drugs and meth/heroin are things I need to stay away from.

There are people that do keep it under control, they are few and far between then there are people who say they have it under control and usually think they do but they don't and they don't notice how deep theyre in until its too late. I think if this rehab doesn't work im going to be a lifelong junkie. Maybe not your stereo-typical junkie but never the less pretty much that exactly, just not as obvious. I was pretty damn responsible with my drug use but obviously not enough to handle what years of IV drug use does to ones mind and body. And im 23 btw ..... So im not dissing anyone who does it, but I don't condone it and I sometimes wish I never did it, but it made me part of the person I am today so I don't regret it really.
 
I find it very interesting that they're tied so close together, bluelight sure has alot of people that inject judging by this poll. Goes to show you that bluelight isn't a good representation of drug users as a whole. 48% would be nuts if it was. 8o

Keep in mind that this post only has roughly 1000 voters, out of the thousands of Bluelight members over the past 14 years, and this poll is nearly 6 years old as well.

There are a lot of variables at play, the DOC of those posting in Drug Culture being one of the main ones. Bluelghters that stick to using ecstasy or cannabis might not venture out of those focus forums that often. Then you have to consider that the majority of the people looking at this particular thread are likely the drug users who use drugs that are commonly IV'd, and if they are participating in this poll, then it's almost a certainty that they use drugs that are commonly IV'd by people. With that in mind, the results are not surprising.

Let me explain myself a little further. If someone whose DOC is cannabis stumbles across this thread, then I doubt that they would participate in this poll. On the other hand, if a heroin user sees this thread then they are likely to participate in it. With that in mind, I don't think that 48% is that high of a percentage of people that inject. Most people don't voluntarily participate in a poll unless they have done what the poll is asking. Even if this poll was taken by every heroin, meth, and coke user, the numbers aren't that high.
