I've never been to a wedding where there wasn't an open bar and the people weren't at least mostly drunk at.

Sounds like crummy wedding, so yes, go high as shit or something.
 
Do you mean there will be no booze at all or just no open bar? What kind of people don't have booze at a wedding.

I have to say I'm shocked that anyone would suggest you nod at a wedding especially in this thread ;)
