A friend of mine did it, researched it and I guess did it the same day. She said she missed the vein, and supposedly there became a "bubble", which she then panicked and she cut open to drain to avoid a trip to the hospital. Scary stuff!! Needless to say I haven't heard of her trying that again after the matter.. I think personally, if you don't have someone experienced to physically show you, maybe wait. I obviously agree about the addiction etc but at least you came here to do it as safely as you personally can. Good Luck![]()
That is exactly why it is incredibly dangerous for an inexperienced IV user to go sticking themselves with no clue what they are doing. Like you mentioned in your post, having somebody with good technique and a lot of experience (key phrase, "good technique". You could have someone using 10 years with horrible practices that show you all the wrong things) guide you is the best option.
