Before you do any more drugs, try psilocybin mushrooms. They tend to bring out strength in you and help overcome diversity in a safe, non addictive way. Also, they may make you realize what you are doing is harmful. Ayahuasca also works well. Then, to further clean, I suggest you try ibogaine. It will lessen a very unpleasant withdrawal experience
I would not suggest ayahuasca or ibogaine to someone with little psychedelic experience. Mushrooms are a much better option for people new to psychedelics. You're right that psychedelics can definitely help with addiction.

How many times did I have people tell me "Don't do it!" and I didn't stop. I didn't give a fuck. People just aren't going to stop until they're ready to stop, and people can tell them to not do it until they're blue in the face and it won't make a difference.

I literally did shoot myself up in the dark back when I first started using (and didn't miss). Probably not a safe idea! But we do crazy things to keep dope sickness at bay. Unfortunately my great vein didn't last all that long, after a decade of using I have no injectable veins at all, even though I've now been clean for years.
Until a few days ago I had only smoked pot occasionally. Anyway, a couple of days ago I was having a crisis in my life and this guy I hang with offered me something to help me forget. I was scared to death when he pulled out a needle. ...he injected me it was the most wonderful experience in my life. When he offered me the stuff it was only going to be a one time thing but it was so incredible that I asked him for some more the next day. Anyway, I've been doing it everyday now for a week now.
...he was just trying to help me. I do realize that there are risks. But I LOVE how this stuff makes me feel and I'm not going to stop right now. I don't want to.
First of all, I have to ask, was the pin he used new? You do realize if it was not new simply washign a pin out with water will not kill many blood-born diseases some of which can live outside the body for days.
My simple answer to your question is yes, it is hard to shoot your self up for the 1st time. IVing does have a bit of a learning curve. Watching how he is shooting you up is the best way to learn (not that I support the choice you are making). IVing is something that you learn with experience. WHile it is good to educate your self, all the reading in the world will not prepare you for that first shot. It will take you a little bit of practice before you are good at it.
When you shoot your self up for the first time you should just have him there to verbally guide you through it. Or next time he shoots you up video tape him doing it to you once so you can look at it when you are trying to do it your self. Better yet, video tape him shooting him self up. How you hold the pin, anchor, and register are vital and you won't get that by watching him do you.
I just want to be clear about my opinion on this whole thing. Using drugs to get over sadness/depression is not the answer/fix. It is a temporary fix. You are not able to think/mourn/whatever it may be you have to do clearly. I am sure you and many others may disagree with this, but I think that sociopath deserves to be in prison for what he did to you. What he did was worse than a brutal rape. He took advantage of you in a weak moment and set you up for a life-long battle against IV drugs. If you feel bad now, how do you think you are going to feel one day when you are in withdrawals + the depression hanging over you? Atleast now you have control over your life.. you really should quit now, because soon drugs will OWN you.
Do you realistically think this guy was trying to help you? He is a heroin addict himself.. he must know how terrible of a life it is. If he was trying to help you he would have brought you out to a bar or something to help you through the night. There is no way to rationalize him turning you onto IV heroin as help. He managed to get someone who was an occasional pot smoker to SHOOT UP STREET DRUGS. What a gem..you should put a ring on that finger.

Aestetically she looks super drugged out, pale, huge bags under her eyes, disgustingly thin, essentially the 'after' in one of those before and after meth movies on youtube. She's not a penny to her name, clothes are dirty with holes and rips, vag stinks like an alaskan fishing boat. Clearly the damage done has been a total devestation )

Her skull's caved in and she's left on the prison floor for over 12 hours while they are in 'lock-down' before she's finally moved hospital morgue.
The guy who 'helped her out' so many years ago by introducing her to IV drug use manages to ruin her life even after death. Her parents have disowned her and her friends are either dead or preoccupied with their own lives leaving her corpse to go unclaimed. Soon she joins the mass grave of the 1,500 other unclaimed prisoners who died that year.
Burried in a mass grave, Emilia is given no grave stone. Not even so much as a public listing of her name in cemetery records. it's just so disturbing.. Like what give shim the right to ruin your life? was the pin even new? i mean judging by his first impression i wouldn't be surprised if he was spreading hep c or aids without a worry in the world. I've never met a real sociopath but clearly they do exist.
all this "it's really bad you shouldn't do it you'll fuck up" seriously becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. if you couldn't stop IV'ing you didn't try hard enough. for real. take some personal responsibility. yes it's hard to stop h, but stopping needle unless you have a massive tolerance (which you gave yourself by switching to needle) isn't too tuff.
Regarding your original post looks like you where taken advantage of. but yeah I know the feeling of not wanting to stop but then there comes a time when you're high so much it doesnt feel good anymore and by that time you're deep into the rabbit hole and cannot stop.
Just make sure you know enough people to get your own supply etc without that original person who introduced you to it, or that person is going to use you pretty bad and control you once the addiction fully sets in.
well. this whole thing seems like the classic 'get a girl hooked then pimp her out' thing. i knew a guy who did this exact thing a few times, it wasn't his chosen 'profession', just something he did when he found someone stupid and/or addicted enough.i mean a two gram a day coke habit doesn't finance itself. i sincerely wish i had inflicted grievous physical harm on him, but back then my standards of people to hang with were pretty low, namely 'must have lots of drugs'. i did eventually sever all ties to those people, but thinking back still makes me wish i had a bigger propensity towards violence. that fucker certainly would have deserved it. last i heard he became a father. i truly pity that child. if there's any justice in the world, he's being vivisected right now.

personally, i had a lot of problems when i first starting tryin to IV for myself. actually, it was TERRIBLE. i never had somebody else shoot up FOR me...in fact, i hadn't ever seen somebody else do it. so i didn't have the advantage of seeing someone work the needle and how they go about it. i too just did A LOT of research on the internet, BUT, YOU CAN KNOW EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW BY READING ONLINE and that CAN NOT REPLACE ACTUALLY GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS AND DOING IT. i must have missed AT LEAST 5 times before i finally got hit with my first rush. then i missed another time of two, but after that i've never missed again. as a tip, when you draw back to register (to make sure you're in a vein) MAKE SURE U DON'T PULL BACK LIGHT RED BLOOD (this means you're in an artery)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! around the 3rd or 4th time i tried IVing i hit an artery because i did not know what 'light red blood' looked like compared to 'dark red blood.' HOLY HELL!!!!! that was one hell of a pain, and scary as fuck because i didn't know what was going on. but once you get the hang of it and know what you're doing, you're golden.

A friend of mine did it, researched it and I guess did it the same day. She said she missed the vein, and supposedly there became a "bubble", which she then panicked and she cut open to drain to avoid a trip to the hospital. Scary stuff!! Needless to say I haven't heard of her trying that again after the matter.. I think personally, if you don't have someone experienced to physically show you, maybe wait. I obviously agree about the addiction etc but at least you came here to do it as safely as you personally can. Good Luck
