How do you guys like nodding off?

Do you like taking high doses of opiates

or

Do you like taking a moderate dose and taking potentiators(ie benzos, grapefruit, alcohol, OTC meds)

I feel like I always potentiate my opiate buzz because I can't afford to have a high tolerance, especially OC's being super expensive in my area. So I break the 80 into quarters and take them throughout the night with potentiators
 
oh the nights sitting at my computer browsing forums trying to post messages, only to type 2 words and attempt to finish it 45 minutes later.....those were the days
 
Not a big fan of nodding. It's the only time a drug has made me feel truly out of control of what I was doing.
 
there was a "nodding, like it or hate it" thread, if you mods want to merge the two.
 
nodding in most cases i get just from taking all opiates(all dope actually) BUT there's a difference when you do all of one type of bags(one type of dope) and get a nod, or if you do some of one type of bags, and some of another type of bags (which i like doing) and getting a nod. i DEFINATELY enjoy mixing the bags that got the BOMB rush w/the bags that last FOREVER, then i get a peaceful nod, throw in my chew (since im tryin 2 quit smokin squarez) and watch some tv
 
I like doing both it just depends on what kind of mood I'm in and what I have to do that day. Usually I would do bigger amounts to get the nod. I LOVE IT. U CATS KNOW WHAT IM SAYIN.
 
I still have quite a low opiate tolerance, so I don't always need a high dose to nod. But yeah, I enjoy it... it's bliss. I've tried drinking grapefruit juice to potentiate it, but honestly I didn't notice much of a difference.

I like the weed and opiate combo to begin with, but it also makes me nod a lot harder.

Haha, I've had a lot of those too.

Texting is also ridiculously hard.


If it's night time I like to nod out where I couldn't really hold a conversation great. Where you're awake and know what's going on, then you start focusing on the TV and the next thing you know you've dropped the remote.
 
For 6 years I've kept my oxy tolerance to 20mg. I ALWAYS smoke weed on it tho. That's what makes the difference. I can snort 20mg of oxy and I'm "content," if I blaze on that 20mg, I'm nodding nicely - throw a cig in there and its game over.

Careful. I almost lost my life shootin dope and downin kpins when I was a shorty. Just buried a friend OD'd from dope and xanax.
But I like to do my dope alone. At night in my room, i never cop less than a brick pretty much, So I do enough til im satisfied, smoke me a lil joint drink a brew and im chillin.
 
nodding is alright but it gets aggravating when your comfortable and you have things to do. Other than that I love the nod. :)
 
I usually love it when I'm tryin to get high

But now that I'm on MMT, sometimes I'll nod when I shouldn't, or don't want to...like when I'm trying to read in a public place and keep nodding and dropping my book. Or when I'm in close quarters sitting in seats near other people and I'll nod and like kinda fall over to the side and fall into another person, who in turn gets pissed and yells at me. kinda funny but kinda not.

yeah, nodding is cool if you're doing opiates recreationally, but not cool if you're on methadone like me. Maybe i should adjust my dose... heh
 
high doses for me. i only bother potentiating codeine sometimes when i use it.

load a nice big shot of morphine into a 5mL barrel, take a seat in my chair or on my bed with my smokes, ashtray, weed and bottle of gatorade, shoot up having my bin next to me so i can throw the rig out straight away, put some music on, surf bluelight and eventually lull into a beautiful nod normally within 30-45mins pending what i want to do.

i'm not a complicated nodder. the simpler, the better.
