How did you get off your butt today?

took amphetamine; the resulting motivation allowed me to convince myself that everything in life could be going really good for me and is totally within my control; proceeded to run around maniacally doing everything at once for a few hours; eventually mellowed out as my brain and body started to run out of resources, and found myself stuck doing something repetitive (as you do when you take amphetamine and the initial euphoria fades); didn't sleep; don't remember how long I've been up at this point; I'm now back to sitting on my ass, and my brain is too fried to do anything but sit here and think

That doesn't sound like healthy living lol. But on that note I'm getting off my ass to go buy some beers. I've not gotten drunk for about two months. Gonna hit the Uni foam party tonight. I guess thats socially healthy ;)

i only like to drink alcohol when i'm on amphetamine and only like to take amphetamine when i have alcohol. The two mix perfectly. Alcohol gets rid of amphetamine's body load, and amphetamine allows you to drink more and drink longer. I used to use the mix for partying and being social, but I think that all speed users ultimately become paranoid anti-social shut-ins, its just a matter of time, and now when I tweak I'm the opposite of social, and even when I am talkative on speed, all I'm doing is rambling and I end up getting irritated that other people dont look at the piss coming out of my mouth as the pure gold I want it to be

Did a nice 300 pushup workout this mornin. Yeh I'm startin late in the week. Gettn up 2moro and doin back.

Had a PT session on Wednesday.

5x5 for deadlift - 60kg-100-110-120-125 - I struggled with the grip strength of 125, but got it out eventually, nearly busted the poo poo valve though.

Did some bench press after that, but that is more focused on speed then resistance.

After that, it was 2 short circuits

Circuit 1 - 60kg Deadlift > 16kg Kettlebell Swing - 12 reps each x 5 sets - Completed in 8 minutes
Circuit 2 - 40kg Bench Press > Burpees - 8 Reps each x 5 - Completed in 7:42

I wanted to die after doing both of those, which doesnt sound like a lot.

10K trail race in 53:27:53 I think that might be a personal best. I did not stop once.
I took a real nice digger (trip, fall forward, roll, pop the fuck up and keep running) after mile 5. My left ribs are sore. Minor left leg lacerations. My almost 2 week old groin injury is fucking painful right now. I did not hurt while running.

Thank you. One of my running buddies just told me I placed first in my age group 40-44 which means I beat 15 women!
First in my AG is always my secret goal but I am happy to finish every race. I wanted to run this one in 58 min or less.
SUCCESS!

79th out of 224 runners on my 10K trail race this morning in 32F or 0C
53:26.55 8:37/M

^awesome, especially with a commando roll. well done!

i got my old run back. 14.12kms in 1:20.
although my regular power walks and resistance training on my legs have stepped up over the last couple of months, my legs need more conditioning. i'm finding my second wind never gets tired, but my leg muscles start to give in. i may be dripping with sweat and my face red like a tomato, but i'm not puffed. just sore.

riding the day after energy from yesterday's run, i hit my chest, triceps and deltoids pretty nicely today.

last night when i finally got to put my feet up, i sadly sensed some knee pain. i never felt the "running is bad for your joints" thing before now. :(

we have bad knees in our family but i love running. I guess i'll need to start saving for knee ops in the future :|

I got off my ass today by waking up and coming to Uni. Now sitting in the library pretending to be busy but really just listening to music posting on the net 8)

Might go to the gym in a bit though. After some more work
