7.04kms today. intended to take it easy, but caught a few pedestrial green lights going down town, so i decided to see if i can reach the northern shore under the harbour bridge and back to work in chinatown. done.

day 64
155.27 miles

edit: holy shit that's 250kms

When cleaning the house yesterday felt like a work out after 8 days of rest, I was sad. Enough of doing nothing!
I will do what I can that does not cause pain. I bailed on Tues night group run. It hurts to walk and use stairs. I am not ready to run.

3 sets of 20
bicep curls (10lbs each)
reverse fly (10 lbs each)
dumbbell cross jab (10lbs each)
overhead tricep extensions (20 lbs total)

back squats, bench press, and bicep curls.

i started counting calories today in hopes that i'll be beach ready by august. i have put off the logging for too long, and it's the only way to be accountable.

what were you doing, trying to push a car with your inner knee?
That was LAST year ;)
I had a minor pain in my left groin for over a week prior to the race. Falling after mile 5 probably did not help.
Any movement using using adductor or hip flexor KILLS.

After a two days of rest, 45 minute weight training. Feels awesome, about to run 3.5 miles.

.....just finished 3.5 miles in 40 minutes. Feels good but I DEFINATELY think I fucked up my right quad and hamstring BBBAADDD:!

I finally got motivated enough to leave the house. Jogged to local aquatic centre, did laps (maybe 7 or 8 x 25m) then checked out the gym for first time ever, got shown around, played on rowing machine, treadmill, cross trainer and a few weight machines. Going back tomorrow and day after tomorrow have an assessment booked so they can develop a programme for me. Yay me.

Jogged 7 miles, then did 150 pushups followed by 20 minutes of free weights. Definitely helps boost endorphins when they're sorely needed (opiod w/d).

^Thanks! Depression can make you do crazy things. Also, it's been more or less my routine for a year or so; gotta keep some sense of normalcy, heh.
