3 mile run with interspersed pickups.
Thank you for not using..'that term' this time ;)

14.5 miles on bike. Kept it avg. speed 10mph to avoid over-training.
Practiced the crawl in pool for one hour. I can do a couple laps now. I learned the discipline involved in beginner swimming.
nice- i did about 8mi today, my body is hella weak from yesterday.

thurs: met beagleboy, did hard biking in traffic and swam laps at his pool. ~50mile total bike for me, but only did laps for like 20min lol..my heart felt like it was ripping out of my chest in the pool, actually made me uncomfortable :|

today is last planned day of cigarettes, got my patches and everything to go cold turkey 100.0% after i fall asleep tonight. this should be interesting ;P

Yuck, good luck with that. Quitting cigs is a nasty thing.

20 min bike
Bent row 12.5 lb 4x10
Squats 12.5 lb 4x10
Deadlift 15 lb 1x10 (It felt weird just picking them up and then putting them back-down, like modified squats. I think I'll try a stiff legged lift next time)
Lat pull down 40 lb 4x10
Yayyy being back at my normal gym

Slightly more than a mile walk. Biking about 6-8miles. Hit the gym with some freewieghts for about half hour...
4x15 flat db increasing lbs each set. going from 35's to 75's
4x15-20 chins
3x leg raises for abs. lost count on reps.

Two private sessions a week with a trainer and I fill in the rest of the week with my local gym or my elliptical.

:)

Go man go! Nothing like the rush from exercise! Well there is but this is the healthier way to experience it :)

4 mile trail run with a pastor from my local running group.
New trail to me. 2000 ft elevation gain. I walked most of the last 1.5 miles uphill. FAK! Mother nature you win THIS time.

must suck living w/ it if you don't smoke. i was bothered by ppl's smoke when i started cutting down lol.

Thankfully everyone smoked outside and my bf was really good about showering/changing/brushing teeth afterwards.

20 min bike
Hamstring thing 60 (?) 4x10
Leg press thing 110 lb 4x10
Leg extension thing 75 lb 4x13
Calf raises 50 lb 4x15

Calf raises 50 lb 4x15

Calf raises are the one exercise where I find that doing, let's say, 1 set of 80 reps at 20 lbs nets me better results as far as definition and growth is concerned than the standard hypertrophy 3 set/10 repetition arrangement that works for every other muscle group (I do wonder if forearms might be better served with this as well, but they get enough work on my curls, I keep my thumb inside, next to my other fingers, as opposed to around the handle. Works great as far as allowing me to get more work out of lower weights, which I always prefer). I also do standing one-legged calf raises with a hand resting against some kind of support for balance. My calves are the best looking part of my body.

calves tend to vary a lot between ppl in that regard (typeI versus typeII muscle fiber ratios). also, some people just *cannot* get their calves to grow realistically, weird.

My calves are like yours, they're getting bigger right now due to my running than when I trained them with heavier resistance (note that they were absolutely *stronger* back then, just not bigger).

Yesterday, I walked a mile w/ the dog.
Road an easy 4 miles on the bike.
And I played Frisbee in the park for over an hour w/ my brother.

I like this thread. It makes me want to do more things.

i wanna find hills, have been meaning to run on the beach but never get to it lol.

yesterday: bike 19mile strong strong pace. hauled a shit-ton of garbage to help "de-hoard" some shut-in i just met (lol).
today: hhrrrrm...6.5mi ride was all i was gonna do, but got home and ate, then: 4.4mile bike *race*-pace to the ocean, swam .25-.30mile really solid pace, raced 4.4mile home and put down about 2.5l of sugar/whey/water/milk/creatine mashup, then did a new biking "exercise" - i'd accelerate as quickly/strongly as i was capable of to the top speed i could get, then slow it down, then re-accelerate to top, etc etc. Did that for a 15mile loop - intense isn't strong enough to describe this, it was basically a perma-lightheaded ride, thought i was gonna puke twice lol (oh and put down 2l of *strong* gatorade while riding). So a scratch over 30mile total bike today, 50miile bike over the weekend ;PP

Rest of the night is wrenching, bath and food. score :)
