Kid, you can't teach something you yourself don't know.Yeah well there is a huge difference between knowing how to do something and actually being able to do something.

woah wait, i never said shit about anything purifying 2cb except acetone washing isnt gonna remove everything that can be cut with itThe guy who said he doesn't know about 2C-B who never provided any detail on how to actually purify 2C-B using chatgpt to prove that his chatgpt derived tek is better.
Well done
Thought I'd seen it all.
dude, your links have source=chatgpt in themwoah wait, i never said shit about anything purifying 2cb except acetone washing isnt gonna remove everything that can be cut with it
then yall came at me with some 2CB hasnt even been cut crap
says right here outta 4 samples (granted off darknet) 0 had straight 2CB as advertised: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/dar.13825?utm_source=chatgpt.com
says here as well: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0376871619301577?utm_source=chatgpt.com
absolutely, its able to scan 20+ sites faster than i ever will, i double checked emdude, your links have source=chatgpt in them
priceless
rightI dont think it is unlikely that 2C-B would be impure, or have synthesis byproducts, but I think from the nature of the drug it is unlikely to be cut. By "cut" I think of Cocaine where it is bulked out with whatever to make more money. I can't imagine it is passed through as many hands as drugs like Coke and I think the most likely thing is sloppy synthesis.
I just scrolled through a few pages of Wedinos results for 2C-B and the vast majority were 2C-B only, a few had 2C-H as well, one had paracetamol and one had mephedrone. I'm not counting "Tussi" or pink cocaine because that has probably never seen 2C-B.
Bromoarenes and bromoalkanes are much different in their reactivity. If you look up the metabolic pathway of 2C-B, the bromine stays immobile. You are a little too confident in the knowledge you have.despite its a great halogen great leaving group for Sn1 Sn2 En1 En2 pathways
| Compound | Halogen | Chemical name (abbreviated) |
|---|---|---|
| 2C-F | Fluorine | 4-Fluoro-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine |
| 2C-C | Chlorine | 4-Chloro-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine |
| 2C-B | Bromine | 4-Bromo-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine |
| 2C-I | Iodine | 4-Iodo-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine |

He's saying a/b (acid/base). Using a partitioned system of an aqueous and organic phase, by modifying the pH certain molecules will want to migrate to one or the other phases (layers of liquid) this allows you to keep some molecules and remove others.
Generally unnecessary in the case of 2C-B as most of the impurities formed during it's synthesis are removed during it's process steps and the ones that do remain in the final product are typically soluble in alcohols/organics while 2C-B (when it's in a salt form) is soluble in aqueous phase. Simply powdering your 2C-B hbr/hcl and washing it with an organic solvent (acetone/isopropyl alcohol) like I described in my first comment will remove most of the impurities. If you have the HCL salt, it has already undergone an A/B anyway so another A/B would literally do nothing.
If you insist on using AI, use it as a tool but crosscheck everything because it is drawing on what humans say and humans say a lotta bullshit. Also doing things yourself is going to teach you a lot better than some book ever will.
-Edit- Honestly the final step of 2C-B is pretty elegant in my eyes when done with elemental bromine. It's messy but elegant. You take 2C-H freebase, and react it Br2. The bromine atoms disassociate, one of them kicks off the hydrogen at the 4 position of 2C-H, that hydrogen bonds to the lone bromine atom remaining to create HBr (hydrobromic acid) in situ which immediately forms a bond to the 2C-B's nitrogen creating a stable salt that can be washed with an organic to remove impurities and make snow white 2C-B.
I do think there may be some slight difference in absorption of 2C-B HCL vs HBR but the HBr is a fine molecule and doesn't require another transformation. That's just my opinion though.
I guess it depends if they test for all the byproducts though?I just scrolled through a few pages of Wedinos results for 2C-B and the vast majority were 2C-B only, a few had 2C-H as well, one had paracetamol and one had mephedrone. No. 2C-B is made from 2C-H by bromination. Contamination with 2C-H means the conversion was not full and the end product not cleaned up enough (distillation of freebase [basically nobody does this], crystallisation [regrettably, basically nobody does this on the market]).So is this bromine process the way to strip the useless 2C-H from a pile of 2C-B?
IIRC they do GCMS and they report the existence of any "unknown" that doesn't have a match in their database.I guess it depends if they test for all the byproducts though?
I didn't know they do GCMS, is that for every sample? no wonder they have such a backlog, I'd guess they're limited by equipment availability and throughput quite severelyIIRC they do GCMS and they report the existence of any "unknown" that doesn't have a match in their database.
I do see that they test pills (that must contain pill filler) but the results say only 2C-B, perhaps they don't list certain inactive fillers? Or maybe that only goes for pills they test.I guess it depends if they test for all the byproducts though?
I thought they only listed active compounds, IIRC 1 of the issues with them is that the can't report on strength for example, just primary active compound and secondaries which I assume is really just looking at the biggest peak in the GCMS, so even if the only active compound were 2C-B but the pill is 95% filler, then you've got a shit underdosed pill. Seems underdosing is on 2c-b pills is pretty common these days.I do see that they test pills (that must contain pill filler) but the results say only 2C-B, perhaps they don't list certain inactive fillers?
