^there ya go, hehe, I have school tonight so I can't go for my gym workout. Going tomorrow for hot yoga, gym on wed, hot yoga on thurs then off Fri. Saturday will be gym day plus hot yoga or just gym then sunday probly hot yoga and gym.

god i miss hot yoga. i still havent gone back since i got athletes foot. although my feet are finally free and clear now. i dont wanna go back :(

i need to find a good vinyasa yoga to go to....

question for you yogis in this thread: would you clean/throw away/use as-is the yoga mat that you were using when you got athlete's foot from a hot yoga studio?! Am I just being ocd by thinking there's fungus on my mat? I dont really know what to do with it... I feel too lazy to clean it but wasteful if I threw it away.. It's a good mat, not one of the cheap ones. it was used when I got it, my boyfriends mom handed it down to me. so its kind of worn, but still very usable. just possibly fungusy? do you ever clean your yoga mat?

ive been doing a lot of hiking up big hills and riding my bike to work. i need to kick it back into high gear cuz im putting on some weight in my gut again... i just love BEER what can I say

^I would throw it out tbh, It's better to be safe than sorry.

The yoga place I go to has this service rental as well which is included in the monthly payment plan I signed up for, so I don't need to clean the mat I use, they clean it for me after our session. They collect the mats and they wash them. It's easier than to bring my mat etc when they can just provide it for you and you don't need to bring it home.

Pretty good, going to bed in a few minutes as I have to wake up early so I can go to a friend's place. What about you?

Same :) Have to get up at 6:15 for work, which is ridiculously early for me. Went to the beach today so not complaining

Haha nice goin Sep reviving this thread!

Currently in the gym still going at it with my exercises. I love exercising what can I say haha! i have hot yoga lined up for tomorrow night after work hopefully i dont get bombarded with work stuff.

Kind of bummed with myself as I skipped the gym and went straight home after work today thinking I had so much stuff to do. Turns out I'm done far sooner than I thought I would be so I would've had time anyways. Might do some home excercising in a bit

^aww hehe well theres always tomorrow. I think ill take tomorrow off since I went 5 straight days of working out, only thing is tonight I did hot yoga.

Yeah you should! Resting is as much part of a healthy regimen as exercise is :)
Did get some crunches and squats in in the end so all good. Two days of dancing my ass off on a local festival ahead now..

^haha nice I haven't danced for a while, I used to go to dance classes but after a while I fell out of it. More into working out in the gym and then yoga. I should probly get back into it again just for fun

This sounds like exactly what I do lol. :P

Does anyone else here have a spiralizer? http://www.peacefuldumpling.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/spiralizer.jpg (if you don't know what it is)
I've been able to make some pretty cool recipes with zucchini noodles. I never really liked experimenting with pastas too much because pasta can be pretty high calorie in itself (not worth it to me anyway) but zucchini noodles allow me to try new sauces. Love it :D

I haven't but I love pasta! Thanks illama for the info!

I think once in a while pasta won't hurt me since I burn a ton of calories due to working out so much. i love aflredo and carbonara sauces but not big on spaghetti sauces

It's tough for me to rest. But that's why in the past I've ended up burning out.

Now I'm listening to my body more and the early signals of chronic stress.

Have taken it easy for the past week (same capacity, just not pushing myself) but starting today it's time to start ramping things up.

One hour of yoga, 5x5, and running today.

I set goals for every month and this month I'll add 15 min of yoga (comes out to the next ~6 poses.of Primary), 10 lbs to my lifts, and a quarter of a mile to my runs.

^ Sounds good, I should start to get back into yoga too. There's a yoga center just down the street from where I live but it is quite expensive and I'm not good at doing stuff alone at home.

I've been noticing that I find it progressively harder to get out of bed in the morning. Not in the depressed I don't want to live anymore fashion, but more in the snoozing 10 times and still not wanting to get out way. Also, for the first 45-60 minutes after waking up I still feel very foggy in my head and am very inactive. Never had that before, used to jump out of bed in the morning. I guess I'm just getting old :(

I am. At least, this amount of sleep (6-7 hours a night) has always been enough for me. I have had a bit of a irregular sleeping pattern these last few months due to work/ study/ drugs but have leveled out over the last few weeks. Perhaps I just need some more time.

I agree with Fly. Quitting drugs has had the biggest impact on my sleep. It takes me months tobget back to normal. Unfortunately I had a minor "relapse" about 5 weeks ago right when my sleep was finally begin to normalize. Now it's once again beginning to normalize and I couldn't be happier.

I wake up at 6:30-7 and sleep at 10-10:30, but don't really get started til 8 or 9 most days. At my peak I would get started immediately.

We getting there. Process over results.

I ate so much last nght when me and a couple of my work friends watched a movie. Need to power through my workouts tonight!
