Out of everyone I know, I'm the only one this ever seems to happen to. I seriously did think I was the only one who had this issue. Fuck.

My body had been completely taken over by alcohol, heroin, methadone and other drugs and a lot of people don't recognise me now! I was just over 10 stone at my worst which isn't good for someone who is 6ft 3" ! I've put on about 3 stone in weight since I've been clean and am at about right weight! The comparison of these photos does show me how far I've come even just physically.

heres a recent one of me (taken on a bus when i went to new york before xmas), i know i do look pretty geeky in this but it was intentional

^^ It's that weird thing they do with the jars on your back. They light something inside the jar & stick it on your back, the vacuum then sucks your skin up into the jar. Then they pull them off. Seen it on some TV show.

I don't understand what the benefit is meant to be though. Some sort of weird thai massage thing.

Yeah, they call it cupping. I couldn't wake up yesterday morning and had to do a lot of work, so I stopped off for an hour before breakfast to get a tiger balm massage and cupping done. Woke me up alright - and only cost $2

People here believe it draws sickness out of you. I don't buy that, but it does make you feel fresher - probably something to do with an endorphin release.
