im in NY and powder is all we get, from what i hear TAR isnt that good, powder is as almost pure as you'll get..
i cant believe im saying this, but i am coming to the defense of tar. im from philly originally, so i always loved powder. but now, after 10 years on the west coast, i gotta admit, there is some great tar around sometimes, for about the same price as you would pay to get equally as high in philly or nyc.
tick took the words right out of my mouth regarding the shooting issues, esp. the dark solution making it hard to see if you registered. one last thing, tar does indeed stink. and when you first smell it may nauseate you. but, with a little time, you will think it is the best smell in the world!

You can get fabulous tar and you can get fabulous white powder...most know that the converse is true as well. Color and form do not matter...but...tar by its incomplete synthesis is always a risk. IT presents unique risks that the other forms do not [bacterial infections, etc.]. If given a choice, I would stay with powder...or at the very least clean up the tar.

im from the north east US. new york. so all the H i ever see is alwasy powder. ranging from light brown to pure white.
sometimes theres little red specs (some type of downer i know its been discussed mad times) and once ina while little black dots (i was told it was horse tranquillizer but no idea for real)
i've never seen or had tar. although i've been sold some very very strong powder. you dont even need to cook your shots, it disolves just fine in cold water.
i'd still like to give smoking some tar a try just cuz i've never done it. i've smoked powderd H but it seemed like a waste to me....either that or i was too fucked to notice it anyway

chasing the dragon is a really good, safe way, to use H, if you can master the art of the process. But you will never be able to smoke a gram of tar in one hit, whereas you could easily slam yourself with a gram in one go.

of coarse it's possible to OD by just chasing. But honestly, compared to IV, what do you think the likelyhood of OD'ing is chasing vs. smoking for an experienced user?
And hell yes its a fast delivery system. It hits you faster than injection, you just can't do as much at once.
Well depending on your tolerance, i guess you could smoke an initial SUPER FAT HIT, that would resemble or even be stronger than your average IV hit. You would probably waste a lot doing this though.

According to the "Drugs in the Media" class that I am taking this semester, smoking a substance hits you roughly 3 seconds quicker than using a substance intravenously, however, intravenous use provides a much more powerful rush. Yes, I was surprised also...

It is pretty much impossible to fit a gram of tar into a .5cc syringe. That's why most IV tar users use 10cc's with a 12 gauge point.

wtf, you can earn credits in a real class by learning the most efficient ways to get high? Awesome.
Someday if i have a lot of H to experiment different methods with, im going to see if i can get off harder by taking one large ass dragon hit, vs a decent to pretty damn good IV.

^ Tried it, I don't think my lungs have the capasity to hold that much smoke for so long. In my experience its been about large hits and just how carefully you vaporize your stuff. IV'ing has always kicked my ass as far as rushing goes.
