ok well i found out from the methadone counsellor and methadone doesnt lower ur seizure threshold any more than suboxone does
she reckons my best bet is to do a switch if i cant afford suboxone
she said itll make me drowsier and ill hav to raise the doses faster possibly
i dont want to do it but i dont want to lose maverick
for now im staying on suboxone cos it seems to agree with me and i never liked methadone (only ever had it by IV but still.....)
pauls just got a job with computers and will b making a fair bit of money - he reckons he can help towards my monthly suboxone costs
^^^ I don't know about where you're at (Australia right? Or N.Z.?),sorry, but what I wanted to say was that here in the U.S., buprenorphine is EXTREMELY expensive!!! A 30 day supply of 8mg pills costs $187! Thank the gods for insurance(gov't run type for me at the moment), and other drug prescription plans. Otherwise, there's just no way...and it's back to black-market 'done, and whatever else i can get in the meantime, while coming up with cash for the Subs.
Peace, Christopher
