Heroin/Meth Users, I have a Question for You

This seems to be a very popular thread among the green lighters. I wonder if more people are coming in specifically to find out about meth and heroin.

i think dope can be a drug that can be used responsibly. Oftentimes, obviously, it isnt, but in the hands of a very experienced drug user it can be an occasional treat. I wouldnt even bother with any ROA other than IV, though.

Dont do meth..look at how many people here agree! Dont do either thye will take you down a road that you will regret but if you feel you have to try one then try H.

So, a question from someone who has done his fair share of oxies & other opiates. I use maybe once a month at the most, more normally once every few months. I'm going to be buying 2 bags of Philly H within the next two weeks. RoA is going to be insufflation. My questions are:

Is H really that much stronger than Oxycodone/other opiates?
Will I have that much more of a chance getting addicted to it than with Oxy?

I would recommend to stay away from anything that has a high potential for addiction and a bad safety profile. In other words, don't take something madly addictive that you can OD on. You're just setting yourself up for miserable failure. Sure, some people manage just fine but many don't. I'm 19 and used to do the same drugs as the OP, plus some occasional psychedelics thrown in. While I've never done heroin or meth, I cannot imagine feeling better than I have on 160 mg of pure MDMA. If there is better out there, I really have no business feeling it.

What would you say to an 18 year old wanting to use heroin? My poisons are weed, E, and alcohol. But ever since I rolled for the first time, I've found myself wanting to try harder and harder drugs. So...what do you think? Should I try heroin or meth? Or are those two worlds just way too dangerous to get myself mixed up in? In other words, based on your experience with both or one of the two drugs, what would you say to someone wanting to try one of them?

Well, I can't speak for meth, 'cuz that's one that I know I'd like way too much ;). But, I started shooting heroin (I've NEVER smoked/snorted, only IV'ed) a little after I turned 18, did it daily for 10 months (mainly for pain relief, but it was also fun =D), and then stopped when I decided I didn't like it enough to justify the side effects, went through a couple weeks of cold turkey withdrawal, and haven't done it for about 6 weeks. Lots of people said "don't do it, it's SOOO good, but the withdrawals are so awful you won't ever be able to get off of it, and you'll end up spending all your money on it and it will ruin your life." None of this happened. It wasn't nearly as great as everyone said, and I expected the withdrawals to be ten times worse than they actually were. I was completely functional while doing H (college freshman with a 3.8 GPA, friends and boyfriend, part-time job, volunteer work, etc.), and nobody ever found out. Also, it was a pretty cheap drug (the most I ever did was maybe 3/4 of a bag daily). It's certainly not something I regret, and I'll do it occasionally in the future.

That being said, I also met a lot of people that had totally ruined their lives over dope, and it can be very addicting. If you're considering heroin and you haven't done any other pharmaceutical opiates/opioids, I'd strongly suggest trying those before heroin. If someone LOVES hydrocodone, then heroin probably is a bad idea. Weirdly enough, heroin was my first illegal drug :D. However, I'd been prescribed pretty much every single narcotic painkiller that exists (and I wasn't really using them recreationally, just for pain relief), including OxyContin, Dilaudid, Opana, and Fentanyl patches. Also, I've been given IV hydromorphone, morphine, Fentanyl, and Demerol in the ER/hospital since I was 14. I never saw (and still can't) see why people go crazy over opiates, and think they're overrated, but that's just my opinion. I have always loved Rx stimulants & downers/benzos/alcohol way more than opiates, and the latter is definitely not my DOC. Like, I absolutely love Adderall and Dexedrine, so I'll never do meth. If you don't really care for opiates in general, and have done some pretty strong ones, you're a lot less likely to get addicted to heroin, but it's also not as fun. Whatever you do, make sure you've done lots of research first, and stay safe :).

Oh and also: I know maybe 5 or 6 meth addicts, and they all look and act completely normal, not like something off of "The Faces of Meth" website. I also know people that tried meth once, hated it, or do it once a month without ruining their lives. But I've also seen people going through meth psychosis and it's horrifying. Even if you don't end up with methface and no teeth, meth is still an extremely neurotoxic drug that can ruin your brain (and your body, too). Conversely, heroin very similar to natural endorphins, as opiates and endorphins both act on the same receptor. Because of this, heroin is VERY gentle on one's brain and body, and kills ZERO brain cells as it is not the least bit neurotoxic. It can ruin your life if you're addicted, but it will not destroy brain tissue, or your body (unless you don't practice vein care/hygiene and contract Hep C or HIV). Withdrawal feels excruciating, but it doesn't do any damage to your body, and it will not kill you like alcohol/CNS depressant withdrawal-induced delirium tremens can. There is a ton of inaccurate information about heroin that is mainly propagated by the DEA and Just Say No people, but truthfully, opiates are one of the safest drugs. I'm not saying they're not addicting, but once you quit, there is no lasting damage done to the body, unless you've collapsed your veins. The harm associated with heroin isn't due to the drug, but it's illegal status and the lifestyle that often accompanies it.

If you like uppers go with Meth...if u like opiates or downers more go with h...although I found h to be a big disappointment pharmaceuticals like Oc or opana are far more euphoric in my book, i even prefer Norcs or methadone over h ...but be careful I know a lot of people who have ruined there lives with these..sum people can juggle both drugs and life and be fine, other people spiral out of control before they kno it... Jus be smart and remember moderation is key...and never shoot up that will take u down a bad path and u won't be able to go back to just smoking and snorting

i just recently turned 18, im sad to say that i am a heroin addict myself. i started using heroin when i was only 15. maybe this is normal to some people but where i grew up it is shocking. my parents did not find out about my heroin addiction for almost two years. if i could sum it all up i would, but heroin will take you to places you never thought you would go. you will keep crossing lines and doing things you said you would never do. you lose yourself, your morals, your friends and family, you lose everything to heroin. it becomes your everything. there was not a day that went by that i did not use heroin. i could only let thirty minutes pass before i was smoking again. i held out on shooting up for atleast a year and a half. i have had many friends pass to heroin overdoses. you are curious about heroin?do you understand where heroin comes from? do you realizes the consequences and the toll it will have on you? you may say that you have done enough research about it, but you do not understand how that drug will ruin your life. i can not drink a glass of wine without thinking about heroin. you can not be responsible with heroin. you become pale white, you lose too much weight and become careless. i wish i could stick to just alcohol and weed, but it is not good enough. i put my father in debt due to MY heroin addiction. heroin will ruin your life, you may not plan on doing it much, maybe just once, but i can promise you there is never a once with heroin.

Honey, just stick to alcohol and a line of blow here and there. Keep it social. Don't get into Heroin or Meth. Keep control of yourself. Don't throw your life away over Meth or Heroin.

HEROIN = the most addictive
METHAMPHETAMINE = the most harmful

My advice? try both. But dont shoot up. Smoke it or snort it. If you dont want a habit, just keep that in your mind. To get seriosly hooked you need time and will. I use Cocaine, Opium, Cannabis, Hypnotics and Alcohol and never have any problem. Its just not big deal, imo.

Your just flirting with a sinsiter devil if you try either heroin or meth. Trying hard drugs most likely will lead to a life of suffering. I'm 26 and regret so badly ever trying oxy's. Please don't make the same mistake. Its a slippery shit rope my friend.

Tbh , taking MDMA is by far the best thing i have ever done in terms of drugs and from wot I have gathered, its all u will ever need if searching for an ultimate high. Just try to get pure crystals. Cant think of anything nearly as good, also it is one of the safest and least addictive.
If ur searching for the legendary opiate high which I can fully understand, then try to stick with codeine or hydrocodone. Yes they are not as euphoric as smack im sure, but they provide a nice body high and are far less life fucking!!!
Good luck!! X

i just recently turned 18, and started doing heroin when i was 15. it has brought me lots of great highs most days... other days extreme pain. pain i cannot describe. it has fucked up my life more than i care to explain and i regret that first hit more than anything in my life. im still doing it to this day, been to rehab 4 times in the past year and still cant quit.
