hydroazuanacaine said:Hey,
i have been going through the material safety data sheets for oxycontin itself as well as trying to find them for the each individual non-medical component in the pill. the purdue msds for oxycontin (all doses) does not list any toxic or carcinogenic products of combustion. neither do any of the msds's (that i have been able to find, and that comment on the products of combustion) for the individual non-medical ingredients. the only health hazard i have been able to find is with talc, and it is not any problem with the products of its combustion, but inhaling it as dust. unburned talc certainly poses more of the threat with snorting and shooting then with smoking, so that can hardly be used as a reason not to smoke it. surely breathing anything but air isnt great for the lungs, but i would like to determine if their is evidence that it is truly horrible for you, or this got started because of the negative health effects of inhaling talc.
i would really like to hear of any confirmed health problems resulting from smoked oxycontin (other than those with other ROAs) or find real scientific reports of toxic or carcinogenic fumes. plus, i really wanna see if delta 9 or anyone else can find anything besides the melting point of oxycodone, cause i can't.
Thanks
