This isn't a drug one takes to get "high." I don't think the way *I* feel, at least, can be described in either category you suggest. Rather, it is simply a little more of a head-clearing effect. Perhaps it can be related the way 5-HTP makes some people, including myself, feel. Overall, just better in general than I would feel if not taking the drug. What's more, however, is that it also took away the cracked out feeling the day after I tripped.

So far, I definitely notice a much clearer head throughout the day, seems like my mind is back up to it's old self maybe even alittle better.

Who is on paracitin and who is on paracitam and who has tried both? Is the stuff from the NJ company paracitam with a different brand name or are they different things?

No no, I wasnt trying to suggest I (or someone else) would be eating it to get high, theres many more fun things for that...
I was just wondering how noticable the effects are if its something underlying or more pronounced, and i think the 5htp reference explained it pretty well.... Ive done a 5htp regimen before and yeah i just sorta feel better in a general, non quantifiable way....
Any other insights?
 
Does anyone here know how much of this to take and how long to take it before rolling?
I ordered my piracetam a few days ok and I dont plan on rolling for awhile because I like to stick to the one month rule or longer. How much should I take the first week and so on?
 
Anyone else who is taking this stuff noticing wierd effects? I mean people just taking it everyday for memory reasons. For some reason about an hour or so - up to 3-4 hours later, my freaking right eye will just start "twitching" for no reason. I'm serious too. Currently, this is how I'm dosing.
In the a.m. upon awaking, 2400 mg (800x3) of Nootropil (Piratrem) + 500 mg (250 mg choline, 250 mg insotil(?) x 2). THen around 6 hours later I repeat the same dose, but use Piractren instead of Piractrem.
So far I haven't noticed anything different between the piractrem and piracten.
 
personally, i dont wanna get used to such a high dose.
i started at 2X800mg twice a day for 1 week, and now second week, im on 2X800mg once a day.
thursday ill start at 1X800 twice daily for 2 weeks then stop it for 3 weeks.
and repeat with a lesser dosage.
if anything, im hoping to upregulate whatever it is that is improving.
as for rolling, well id take 3 or 4X800mg half an hour before dropping. should clear ur head and EXPAND your peak no ends.
though id REALLY love to know if this is more or less toxic? anyone with theories?

THIS SHIT WACKED OUT....if you guys need this "other" shit to get you Rolling off of E then obviously there is a HUGE problem...stop rolling people geeese oh man. I never did that shit I just stopped because clearly there was a problem...hmmmm DOING TO MUCH MABEY!!!!once you lose the magic, it never comes back...unless you tamper with your brain a bit with other chemicals...thats not good
 
Twl20grl, did you actually read all this stuff posted on here? This drug seems to actually help defend against and repair neurotoxicity. The people who're posting here aren't taking it exclusively to roll harder, it's actually helping to improve cognitive functions. You said in another thread that you live your life in a fog...well this seems to clear that fog away. Maybe you should read up and try some out.
 
It seems that this drug you buy off the INTERNET helps protect against neurotoxicity.

RapidProgession: this drug that we getr off the INTERNET is a pharmecudical here in the US, but you can buy it in the UK. it has been suggested in medical journals and the such that it inhances the effects of amps and alcohol.

I've been having a read about piracetam on the net regarding its effects and such things and it appears that (correct me if I'm wrong) it doesn't actually enhance the effect of amphetamines or alcohol, rather it amplifies them...
That is, it makes your mind more conscious of what the drug is doing to you so you feel the effect more, rather than the piracetam actually causing the drugs to have a larger physical effect on you... Guess that means that you're safe from the neurotoxic effects if you follow the usual postloading regime, anyone know what this means for tolerance?. Surely, if you can get something form one pill, then it will bring your tolerance down?
 
well, from original experience report that started this. the guy says it kicks up mdma and lsd but totally KILLS ketamine and dxm.
if ur mind is more aware of what is happening then logically k and dxm should be enhanced aswell no?
theres more to it than that!

BUT, if you've got no serotonin left from ages and ages of weekly E binges then surely whether it enhances the effect or not, if there's no serotonin, you're not gonna get anything ?
One other thing... many of the sites that talk of piracetam state that it fixes brain damage, inluding alcohol induced damage. None of them say what kind of damage though. If anyone wants to know more, do a Yahoo search for piracetam and brain damage, it's interesting to note that with optimum dosage, the consensus is that the positive effect continues when you stop using it.

It took about 3 weeks for me to get my order of Nootropil (Piracetam) 800MG tabs from nubrain. Taking 1 800MG pill a day for 5 days in a row did not produce any noticable affects. But this morning I took 4 pills and it is definately enhancing my cognitive functions today!

I haven't tried it as a pre or post load yet. But I will the next time I roll.
 
I still think its wacky to take "good" medications or "preload" with shit to get you rolling.....if you can't roll no more then why BOTHER.....obviously your body is telling you something you should know...why go the extreme...?
Even if the stuff makes your body better...is it all worth it?

Yeah but if it can fix the damage we've done to ourselves by overusing the drugs, then surely it's a good thing... all indications are that it fixes your brain permanently.
