Has your doctor or pharmacist ever made a screw up in your favour

Only a couple of times by my pharmacy:

Once was a few extra 30mg Codeine tablets by accident.

The other time I was given less Codeine tablets than I should have been given, and instead of being given the exact number of tablets (probably 8 x 30mg tablets), the head pharmacist gave me a whole box (so it was 28x30mg tabs).

"Score" is the word I imagine... :?

Actually here if you choose to take a partial script fill (on narcotics) because they don't have enough, you forfeit the rest of your script. You better just come back when they have it or go to another pharmacy...absolutely ridiculous. (Not sure if just some states or if this is something fairly new cause I know in Florida they didn't use to do that)

It has kinda backfired on me once went to pick up my clonazepam got home and they'd given me Cialis. lol

I'm really stoned so I actually lol'ed at that.

I'm prescribed clonaz as well as Cialis so wasn't that surprised, really pissed off though!! Was having dinner at a friend house that night who's dad is a GP(not mine) told him about it and he gave me a strip of 10mg valium. Score ;)

I believe some prescription forms also have tick boxes for the amount of pills to be dispensed. Like: (1-30 [], 31-60 [], 61-100 [], 101-infinity []). So, that kind of tampering won't work (unless the doctor forgets to tick the box).
 
They're all printouts where I am so no chance of altering 'em unless you are a bit of a master forger. Have been tempted on the few occasions I've had handwritten ones but always bottled it cos it's just not worth the risk of doc finding out and cutting me off.

I don't recall ever getting owt extra on me script. Or missing stuff off, either (aside from partials but he's never forgotten how much I'm owed when I go back). Seems my docs/pharmacists are rather boringly - nay depressingly - competent and efficient :(

Ah well, cheer up. Knowing karma, if you did get lucky you would probably pay for it somewhere down the line! :D
 
apart from my clonaz 24mg a day current bonus iv only had 1 extra box oxycontin I returned, 20 100 fent patches instead of 10 50 and 10 25s and my whole script out for a month instead of weekly ,baaadd ending as you can imagine !oh and they dispensed me the 40mg and 20mg contains I was supposed to stop to go on fent, I returned then too screwed up gabas givin me too much kept em ,I returned thee 100mcg fents and explained what I needed
 
Good plan, Mr Pecker. Would be easy to go off on a mad one with so many bonus benzos to hand and that could get very messy - not only during but in the aftermath if you get cut back to more sane levels next time. Definitely one to build up a nice stashbox though :D
 
Ive screwed them over when I switched doctors. Id have months of scrips from one doc and go to another. Id fill the scrips at different pharms and pay cash and end up with ALOT of extra bottles of pills. Fuck em.

Course you did Mickey . Those hand written scripts that no one ever get's yeah . I pulled someone on a Clonazepam related thing & he was telling the truth , although he will agree it did sound a bit far fetched .
On a fw occasions you say so sometimes they just get 32 & then sometimes it's 132 c'mon dude .
But wasn't it you that started the Drug Bullshit thread , maybe you just posted in the wrong one .

Yeah easy mistake for the Chemist to not notice i mean plenty of people get 18.85 tablets a day . It might be hand a written script but i'm sure it's a computer label in which case it doesn't make sense.

The Chemist has to state how the tablets are to be taken & the min. info required is Take ... tablets daily .

It sucks now a days that all scrips are printed out. It used to be so much fun to put a zero behind a ten. One time a doctor forgot to sign a scrip and I just signed his name myself. He actually brought it up next time I saw him and said something to the effect well I see why you did it cuz I meant for you to get the pills. He did say that took some balls and laughed. That doctor is super cool.
 
I know I'm not talking bull shit............not a regular occurrence but when the doctors been to see them at home the script is hand written I was the fucker taking them to the chemist without my knowledge!!!!!
