why the hell did they do that? perhaps they're waiting to release a new dvd with them later for the holidays or something lame like that?

I just watched both Deathproof and Planet Terror. Having grown up growing to the drive-in in the 70's I was really looking forward to the whole concept. Overall it was a great experience - thanks largely to Planet Terror. Deathproof to me can be summed up best as and hour and a half of Quentin Terratino sucking his own cock. I thought Rodriguez did a much better job of capturing the genre. The sex scene where the film melts is terrific. Josh Brolin playing his dad James playing a crazed doctor is a nice touch too. Deathproof is a great idea. I would like to have scene what someone like Rob Zombie could have done with it.

Watched Death Proof last night and fucking loved it

Still haven't watched Planet Terror but after hearing others say they preferred Planet Terror over Death Proof im super keen to watch it

I am kinda reluctant to see anything involving Tarantino after that Hostel disaster...

all Tarantino did with Hostel was produce it. and by produce I mean that all he did was slap his name on it. he had less to do with Hostel than meets the eye.

Planet terror has the dark humor I love, but deathproof had the gratuitously violent car crash; and I have never wanted to see movie characters die so bad. overall 4 stars

Planet Terror was pretty darn good but I have to say that I preferred Death Proof

I want to see The Machete film

i remember laughing my ass off... but thats about it. i don't think i really liked either of them that much. perhaps next time i'll watch them stoned instead of drunk

Wow, its been almost 3 years since I last posted that I'd be watching this soon. I only saw Deathproof TONIGHT. Twas fantastic, and like IP, was captivated from start to finish.
I'm not really that keen on seeing Planet Terror as much....

planet terror was great! cause I love those types of flicks. but the real gem here is deathproof...I immediately bought the SOUNDTRACK ...one of the greatest of alltime.. btw eli roth sucks lol
