Yeah, I'd easily say he's probably the best in the world. Most of his work is absolutely amazing.

Just found out he sells clothing too. Might have to buy some

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but most don't consider daim a graffiti writer. He's an artist that uses aerosol, all the pictures you posted are legal.

Got some crazy talent none the less.

Whether this guy is a graffiti writer or not is irrelevant IMO, some of these are just plain awesome to look at.

There is one word that makes these examples better than probably 97.9% of the stuff out there and that is depth. The element of depth this guy gives his pieces are fantastic!

kryalkastleE, most if not all cities have a free graffiti removal service. you just call and they'll come out. i have respect for small personal businessess and the like. but any chain store/corp. is fair game. as someone who plans on opening their own business in the future, i don't think i'd mind a few tags on my building, but i can understand how it could be upsetting to someone who doesn't find it attractive.

yes, writers get a kick out out of putting their shit up on high-traffic, risky places. the thrill is fun. it's like that rush feeling you get right after you take a fat bong rip.

i was watching the movie "almost famous" the other day. and one of the characters is describing rock n' roll, and he says "...it's a voice that says, 'Here I am... and fuck you if you can't understand me.'"
I think that sums up the subculture nicely. It's not like writers go out of their way to purposely piss people off, or that they don't care about what people think, quite the opposite. But don't fuckin try to stifle our creativity. Everything gets buffed. Someday we'll all be three feet under. They're gonna do what they want while they're alive. and they don't care if you have a problem with that.

Not going to get into the debate again 'cos the pro-graff camp thinks it's their right to self-expression while the anti-graff camp has nothing against that if it was done with a medium that doesn't affect/pollute public space. I have a choice NOT to listen to rock or punk.

Anyway I'm sure you guys have read about Banksy possibly outed? And before that, I read some ridiculous Banksy Foundation or the the effect has been set up to VERIFY the Banksy works being auctioned off.

So your graffiti comes with certificates of authenticity now 8)

Has anyone seen that "reverse graffiti"? A guy cleans walls/whatever in a intricate pattern, looks just like graffiti

Here in Sydney the State Transit clowns brought out seats for the buses that already have Graffiti on them as a pattern

hahahahahaahahahahaha

You're kidding, right?

No seriously

The seats are made of a red woven polyester type of fabric and the patterns on it are done in such a way that it looks like someone has come along and hit it with a big fat bomber marker

Next time I ride the bus I'll take a pic of one
