It appears Henry Ford was quite fond of Nazi Germany. I won't deny that. Or the fact that French and Polish general officers came to America to advise the colonial army during the Revolutionary War. As I remember it, the Germans weren't known to be an oil country. Polesti, ring a bell to you? Next you'll tell me the Japanese were actually trying to free Asia from the Allies during WWII.
i certainly wouldn't argue that the Japanese were trying to free asia!

As for an emasculated German society, I stand my ground. I would never deny the historical achievements of past Germans, but were comparing apples and oranges. Today's German society is one were they fear militant Islamic attack so much, they're debating on having a national "Muslim Day" to appease the terrorist.
ok, we can play ball. today's British society - once a nation that controlled a quarter of the world - is one where they fear upsetting Sikhs so much that we can't show a play which discusses a fictional Sikh crime.
and today's American society is one where they fear militant Islamic attacks so much that they have a sliding scale of 'terror-threat-bullshit' alerts which even the general public take little notice of. and today's American society is so warped from the founding fathers' notions that there's talk of altering the constitution - one of the greatest document ever - just because your president is afraid of men who like to suck dick. and today's American society is so emasculated that you have to aruge for fucking years about whether to let a permanently vegetative person finally die.
see? none of these points are relevant or useful, and i think you'll find the same applies to your comments about how unmanly German men are.
There's that word again, appease. Look at Spain? My mother's family is Catalonian and they are disgusted at how the Spanish government rolled over to terrorists (muslim and the ETA).
i don't think most of the country is - and my spanish friends aren't.
Furthermore, the Russians were well and good and all, but didn't they sign a non-aggression pact with Germany in which they agreed to divide Poland amongst themselves? Or how about the massacre of Polish officers at the Kaytn Forest? The list of atrocities they committed in the name of "Wars of Liberation" are to numerous to list.
the russians weren't actually all good at all. the red army was responsible for all sorts of atrocities; often they were less skilled at getting locals to do the dirty work, unlike the germans. lest we forget, the stalinist regime was responsible for something in the region of 20,000,000 deaths - twenty million - which shades hitler into oblivion.
Dr seuss, what the fuck have you done to STOP the massacre in sub-saharan Africa? Don't raise awareness, raise a weapon and fight. Or is that brutish behavior for the mindless and uneducated?
which massacre? you don't know - so obviously i have some more awareness-raising to do

are you referring to the DRC? zimbabwe? northern uganda? where, and what?
i can give you details of the fundraising i've done for the UNA to provide shelters for children in northern uganda who are getting abducted and forced to fight. i can send you videos of the security guards that money we raised paid for - the same guards that stop children being forced to fight. i've worked to set up examination centres from kenya to mauritius to ensure countries can have adequate statistical data to qualify their aid needs. i can send you receipts for money i've contributed to bore-water engineering schemes in malawi that will help people get a clean renewable source of drinking water - and therefore help prevent one of the biggest killers in africa. i can send you pictures i took from inside the DRC, where stoned 12 year olds pointed guns at us and took our documents. i can show you pictures of the club nights we have run & contributed all the profits to water programs in africa - you ever put up 2 grand of your own money to help other people? i can send you copies of every letter i have written to my Member of Parliament, and to the Foreign Secretary, about the situations in zimbabwe, the DRC, and uganda respectively. i can send you copies of the newsletter i'm working on - despite being completely fucking busy with work at the moment - which will hopefully go 'live' in the autumn.
so, you see - not every problem is solved by 'grabbing a gun' or 'fighting'. and further - i'm sure i don't have to tell you this - but not everyone is most effective soaking up bullets.
i mean, do all you army guys just get given a rifle? or do some of you work in communications, others in logistics, others as transport, others as medics?
that is the way the army works, right? good. so you can clearly see that people are suited to different things - and to be honest, i'd be a shitty soldier. but i'm a great writer and a hard worker, and organisations like the BBC and the Royal Society acknowledged that.
I don't know what you've done, but apparently you didn't go to the former Yugoslavia when it was a European problem and you would never stick your neck out for a bunch of ignorant peasants in Africa. Go figure, you talk alot, but do nothing. Actions, not words.
what - because i wasn't old enough to fight in the recent NATO action in the former Yugoslavia, i somehow couldn't do anything for anyone else?
that's a very funny statement to make. it's not related to reality in any way though, is it?
