This thread is proof of just how obsessed women are with shopping/clothes hehe. Nothing wrong with it though, I've been buying clothes recently and it can be really fun...

no lovehandles? this i gotta see. i hate that my belly hangs over my jeans. it makes me never want to wear them again :(

^^ same here, I use to wear very low jeans and cute little tops to show off my mid drift... then after I turned 21 it went all down hill.... BEER=BELLY;)

AE might be the devil of corporate america, but I really like their jeans.
FCUK is a bit pricey, but they're hot.

Aren't Seven jeans extremely expensive? And where do they sell them anyway... I've never seen them in stores, only heard about them.

*ahem*

;)

AE jeans are totally awesome. I was browsing the online site and saw they have 2 different variations of the boyfriend jean. The one they have in stores I don't like. The rise is too low and the bottoms are .. weird. But the other pair I LOVE but they are apparently only sold online.... which sucks for me because I can't buy things online. However my mom did ask for suggestions about what I want for Christmas... :D

My favorite jean are made by Tilt. I found them at Pac Sun a few years ago. They were running a special, 2 pair for like $55 or something. They had tons of cuts and washes. The best part for me was they made them in lots of different lengths. I'm 5'1 and it's hard to find a pair of jeans that I don't have to get tailored. I LOVE THEM. I hope they run that sale again soon!

If you're willing to throw down some cash:

Go to Neimans or Saks. Get one of the personal shoppers to help you. Tell them what youre looking for and the problems you normally have with fit. They will be able to help you more than anyone else.

Then, try on 572468754 pairs of jeans and find the right pair.

Never order jeans online but if you know the ones you want, go online and check around. Prices vary and some of the purely online shopping websites are cheaper, or you can find discount codes. It's also easier and more convenient to check around for sales (and there's usually more sizes in stock.

The other nice thing about Neimans/Saks/Nordstroms is you can get them altered there (hemmed, waist taken in) and they'll tell you if the alternations are going to be so severe you're going to ruin the jean. They an also order you your size from another of their stores and get it quickly.

Finding jeans is exhausting :P I can never find 23s and 24s are too big for me 75% of the time. I know a lot of people think designer denim is ridiculosly overpriced, but I won't buy non designer jeans because I see it as a waste of money. You really don't need more than a few pairs of jeans anyway, and designer denim is higher quality so it doesn't stretch out ridiculously or rip easily and they'll last years.

I've ordered some online and they fit very well, assuming you know your size it should be ok.

i only wear Lucky Jeans, Diesel, S7ven, Paper Denim & Cloth, Banana Republic, and a few others.

oh, also i work at Abercrombie & Fitch, we sell some pretty good jeans (although i dont own any, i frequently wear them)

I love my 'seven for all mankind' jeans! I have no complaints about them whatsoever. They have a good fit for people who wear smaller sizes (I'm a size 2 - 4), yes there expensive - but it's worth it for the high quality and good styles.

I've alway noticed that the expensive brand jeans fit much better than the cheaper ones....

^I would disagree, I think designer fits so much better than non designer.

I agree on sevens fitting smaller girls, I think they also work well if you have a small waist. I bought a pair that were 75% off (fucking love sales :D) a couple days ago and I'm wearing them right now!

^i think you both pretty much said the same thing...

i have a two pairs of seven's that i really like. but my favorite pairs of jeans are from rock and republic.
