Rock over London, rock over Chicago <3

LOL, yeah. I gots to watch that at some point. =D

I know this isn't to everyone's taste, but I happen to like a good few of the bands in it. Particularly X, Circle Jerks, and The Germs (well, kinda...sometimes etc).

Synopsis: Featuring concert footage of legendary Los Angeles punk bands, and interviews both with band members, the publishers of Slash, and with the punks who made up their audience, the film offers a look into a subculture that was largely ignored by the rock music press of the time.

Eerily, the promotional poster for The Decline (and the record cover of the soundtrack album) featured a close-up frame of Germs singer Darby Crash supine on stage with his eyes closed. Crash died from a heroin-induced suicide shortly before the film was released (the poster was designed before his death).

Bands included are Black Flag, The Germs, X, The Bags (billed at the time as The Alice Bag Band), Circle Jerks, Catholic Discipline, and Fear.

just stumbled across a very cool little doc about a heroin addict and his treatment with ibogaine, called "Facing the Habit" (dont know if this has been mentioned before). quite depressing, but very good. i only wish they had had more info on the ibogaine treatment portion, being as that it was only 50 minutes, i easily could have watched another half hour.

if you have netflix you can watch it streaming

Caught "The Yes Men" the other night on Ch4. Was extremely good ^_^

I've just been told that a friend of mine is living with the Dr. from "The Doctor Who Hears Voices" about, well, a Dr. with Schizophrenia. She's a really lovely lass and it's quite sad as she had a really good job which she excelled at.
You can find the Documentary on YouTube here.

Just watched "Dope sick love" the other night. Eye opening to say the least. Definitly worth a watch.

I prefer Black Tar to Dope Sick love but that could just be because of the hot punk girl in Black Tar? Should i really be checking people out in grim heroin docos? who knows? :\
