Golf Golf Thread

well, that was a historic day of golf and no mistake.

the final 2 days were just incredible and the final 9 on sunday was just sublime moment after sublime moment right up to the final putt on the first playoff hole.

i don't think we'll ever understand rory's pitch on #13 but he more than made up for it with two of the greatest shots - approach on #15 and approach on #17.

amazing stuff.

where our golfers at?

i'm watching right now.

my sis in scotland always bets on sam burns. and she did for the u.s. open at 80-1!

my own game is so up and down. i played 2 weeks ago and shot a 78.

played last weekend and shot 101 - worst round in 2 years.

I had Brooks Koepka at +140 to a top 10 finish.
He finished T-12. One stroke shy of a top ten.
First time I ever bet on golf tho.

hey golfers,

the playoff at the st. jude was crazy fun to watch...

i played in my local club championship yesterday and today. i played like crap but i had a moment.

i was 183yds out on #14 and hit a 3 hybrid. it tracked and got close.

when i got up there, i see i missed the insane hole out by about half an inch!

Don't steal the golfcarts no matter how unguarded they are or how close your house is --- actually scratch that. Don't work for the golf course inquire deeply about the golf carts than steal them and leave them across the street in your moms backyard.

I feel like a bit of a dick I told them they could not stay in my garage as too many people were already clued in to some degree of the theft.

I mean I told them No I am a good citizen and I will be reporting this to the first police officer I see -- than I smoked a joint and didn't remember till now.

----- Golf, Play it if your family gives you a chance I didn't and laughed at that group of people who half of which are employed by ppl they met on said golf course despite said crimes.

That is what I know about golf lol

i skipped a tournament at my local club today so i could watch the ryder cup singles live.

what a ferocious rally by the u.s. team!

but europe held on after 2 solid days of foursomes and fourballs.

great stuff.

played the second-best round of my life yesterday. shot even par (gross!) on the front 9 and wobbled a little on the (harder) back 9 to card 36/42 for a 78.

i've known for some time that my gir number is the key to a good round and that shows on the front 9 in this round.

golf!

It's only a matter of time before the attention golf gets from sports betting hooligans inspire the media to start the games at night and make the balls glow in the dark, add surround sound that screams "get in the hole" immediately after every shot, add crocodiles to the water, and make a show called "PGA tour wives".

Good Job Ali.
I've only golfed a handful of times. and the last time every hole was at least a 7.
