I've never tried a glory hole. I think I remember seeing a few at bars and clubs while I was in Europe, but I guess I haven't been anywhere shady enough in the States to see one. its more about having a look at someone else then the thrill of figuring out what their after followed by some form of oral sex. the thing is that people dont just jump into oral sex quickly, it may take 20 minutes of glances to determine wether they are what you want with an intitial showing display reminiscent of birds of paradise that may go on for some time. i mean if someone is genuine they'll do a decent wank shot to entice you long beforehand. this system began to enable adjacent cubicle dwellers in need of sex to determine if the next cubicle was gay or not without having to pop your head over the top. in porn it goes staright to oral sex. in real life it rarely does, more likely is encouraging the other cubicle dweller into yours for a finger and a shift . lol
 
To reiterate what some others have said fuck no! Your not supposed to know whos on the other side and I would be to anxious someone sick was sucking my dick like a toothless meth whore or its a gross old guy. They do exist and are around in public bathrooms and in adult bookstores.

I don't see nearly as many of them in the United States as I used to 10 years ago or even decades ago.

You used to be able to find them in highway rest stop bathrooms, in lots of public bathrooms, and I remember being camping when I was in the BSA and seeing one in the latrine at a state park we were staying at.

I also have been to the UK and parts of Europe and I saw them in public bathrooms there.

These were in men's bathrooms not in unisex bathrooms.

I know bisexual and gay men who have made glory holes out of plywood and used them with a partner or they'd post an ad on Craigslist advertising they had one and to email them for the location and got people to suck off that way.

i've always wondered something about glory holes... how do you know your not going to stick your cock into it, and then feel a searing pain as someone slams a skewer though your lizard and leaves you stuck there (the skewer being longer the the holes diameter, so you'd need to rip it though your tool to get away)...the fact I thought of that means someone else probably has too, which is reason enough to avoid them IMO.
