A bear on the side of the road.
Ackshually… not a bear paw. It’s a… fugasse? (sp). Basically a French take on focaccia made with (in this case) pesto.
The actual focaccias are definitely crispy but, in my defence, the actual baker did the actual baking and, in her defence, this was not her kitchen so not her ovens. Was actually a pizza oven in a random hotel. True story.
Bollocksing aside though, I genuinely do feel much more confident baking now. I look forward to showing off my all-my-own-work… work
