Ackshually… not a bear paw. It’s a… fugasse? (sp). Basically a French take on focaccia made with (in this case) pesto.

The actual focaccias are definitely crispy but, in my defence, the actual baker did the actual baking and, in her defence, this was not her kitchen so not her ovens. Was actually a pizza oven in a random hotel. True story.

Bollocksing aside though, I genuinely do feel much more confident baking now. I look forward to showing off my all-my-own-work… work 😃

This is both personal and random but one time when he was visiting me in Wales he absolutely insisted on buying me a book of vintage rabbit cartoons I’d expressed interest in in a local charity shop.

Was only £2.50 but I - in hindsight kinda harshly - refused because I didn’t want him to waste his money on me. He wasn’t trying to “waste” money on me; he was trying to make memories with me.

He ended up gifting me an oz of 3-MeO-PCP which was worth soooo much more than the book I hankered after…yet that book would still be with me…

But I have my memories and Knock was very much one of the good ones ❤️

I love 4-meo-pcp ssssssoooooo much but never done 3-meo.

Fresh baked bread and butter is so good, add in a cuppa tea (Tetley or Yorkshire gold) the belly is satisfied.
You done a great job.
 
I have a lot of different flours I've got from food distribution. I did A LOT of bread during my teenage years but haven't really done that since. I did some spelt wheat cinnamon rolls maybe 2016-2017 or something.

Basically I am cook, not baker.
 
Reading autobiography of Will Self, I had no idea what a big addict he was.
Injections of methadone with a 5ml isn't a great idea, the days of legal Morphine sounds great compared to going to score off the street.

Mogadon sounds a perfect drug to live through the Years of Thatchers Tory bullshit.

I really enjoyed it… but it is hard to explain. Pretty gosh darn speedy for a start. Much less dissociating than ket, but definitely dissociating. Surprisingly functional at low ish doses. Overall I am a fan!

Never got around to sampling 4-meo though. What would you describe it as?
 
It's just struck me again how good the you tube history tracking is (if you allow permission) for knowing very accurately what you're likely to want to watch or listen to next, taking into account what you have just viewed.

I think its works best for music, because once you listen to more than a couple of tunes, it goes right back through your history, works out which tracks your most likely to enjoy next, which might have been so handy for those times you might have been on a session on in the past.

I know this is kinda obvious, but it's one of the handiest features of youtube i think. You dont have to think too much about what to put on next, because youtube already knows!
 
I totally agree, Bleaney. YouTube has one of the best algorithms going imo. Especially when it comes to music. I trust YouTube music recommendations way more than Spotify, for example.

Found some incredible music recs via YouTube - same can barely be said for the Spotify algorithm which seems far more interested in telling you what it thinks you should like rather than what you have clearly expressed an interest in.

Even the standard video algorithm is honestly top tier when it comes to recommendations. Found all sorts of random shite that I’d never know to search for that I’ve ended up loving.

YouTube has a whole shitload of problems… ninety-nine at least… but the algo ain’t one.

Listen to a fella on youtube called "tylerhateslife" Then see what the algorithm does for you.
 
There was a flash flood here and a ford pickup got washed away. I was watching the EMS go by.

They got everyone out though and the dog .... on a leash.

I think the pickup is wrecked for good though. It was horrible.

The truck is still on its side getting washed. It's brown mud all flooding down everywhere.

Oh I don't know how they got to them. They went over an at least twelve foot concrete slab.

The EMS crew everywhere. Damnnn. 🙏
