Yeah, some places offer a lot of food, some not so. Never visited michelin restaurant or lot of fine dining restaurants anyway, but I've read a bit.
Also the dishes are so peculiar that while it does not make sense regularly eat in one if you are not ultra wealthy, the price may be justified because there is lots of hunt for sea buckthorn seed from local marketplace that is then carved to a unicorn and takes 10 minutes a piece by fairy. So they pay for everything a lot, both manpower and ingredients, and don't necessarily even have insane profits.
