At first glance the budget appears to be good news for working people, as promised.
With most of the burden of increased taxation or national insurance being placed on employers.
None of the raids on pensions that the Daily Mail had appareny been incessantly scare-mongering about.
That rag is so predictable. I'm glad I've avoided it for a long time. Reading the damn thing online, and the comments sections especially, never fails to put me in a very angry mood, with all the scaremongering by the newspaper, and the stupid and ignorant views expressed by the readers.
