@ Sadie, I swear bed time is the best time of day sometimes. It's basically my favourite thing ever if I have codeine and weed.

Done with work for the day and got tomorrow off, discovered we had a single beer left after driving home thinking 'I hope we have beer', stuff is good.

They might; there were a few witnesses, so it's possible. Compensation for killing somebody on the road here is around two grand, so it doesn't make any difference whether they do or not.

I'm fine, but his poor family will be devastated. Hope he had a will, otherwise they will be screwed financially too.
 
Oh Jude, I didn't even see your post! I'm so sorry to hear that! Will they be able to find the person that did this! Are you okay? How are you holding up? <3 That's truly horrible.

I hope in their case he did! I hope they have a good support network around them to help them through this time.

Probably too early for a lot of you, but a shoutout to all those awsome dads out there who change nappies, get up in the middle of the night to crying, who lose half their bed to a mini human, who deal with colds, head lice, unintentional food fights, toothpaste, soap and hair all over the bathroom, standing on Lego and sitting on random wet goo. To those that receive angry or worried calls from teachers, doctors, police, hospitals and other parents. To those that deal with calls in regards to car prangs, drunken pickups, messy breakups, school suspensions, out of control house parties and money requests. Thanks for dealing with us. Thankyou for being there. Thanks for being a father. Happy Father's Day!

I'm back !, just a quick run out as I've been fettling a few things and not had a chance to take for a good run since messing with the carb jetting and refitting the new exhaist (again). All was well, nothing fell off, it didnt blow up and I sat naved it almost flat out at just over 70MPH revving out in top, it's not quite as loud as before but it still sounds like a crosser :)

It's a bit chilly out there though..brrrrrr
 
Good shit. i wish I still had my x-sport, 90cc I think it was, four stroke beast. Pretty sure we were hitting 70 plus on that thing. Looking back, how the fuck did my parents put up with me? My garage was like the central hub for all unlicensed vehicles in the area. I'm in maintenance mode this morning, sorting through the shit ton of race truggies, buggies, and enough spares to rebuild em. There is a regionals on, literally a couple of fields down the road. My plan was to take most of it there to sell. But I have no transport now. I know theres always ebays etc. But this was a perfect opportunity, as the gear is as serious as it comes. I'm still gonna take a wonder down there, with pics etc. Once all that stuff is sold, I'm buying myself a new GPU, and a monitor.

What is it, a 2 stroke scoot?

My bike was running hot last few times out, and I feared the worst and ordered a sparkly copper head gasket, water pump mechanical seal, thermostat and a rad cap for it.

When I actually looked at it today I saw the fan had broken, that's all:o Fixed it up, flushed the coolant and it's fine. At least I will have the spares when I next need them.
 
It's an old lambretta with a moderately tuned 200 cc engine , it's ported and running a bigger open mouth carb and an expansion chamber exhaust . In bike terms it's not fast but it's pulls well and makes a he'll of a racket .

I only use it as recreation my days of 2 wheeled commuting are currently suspended.
 
Sounds like fun.

I'm also no longer commuting on my bikes as work demands a pickup. I find it better as I was riding 6k a month on work only, it was becoming un-enjoyable in the intense heat so now I ride for relaxation and fun.

Just went down the forest for a quick smoke, nice sky out, quick blast home in the dark. Feels good.
