Fuck sake Shambles (that's how I'm going to address you from now on :D) I've been there, said that, it's not true. Lives might change, beyond recognition maybe, but they're not over till the fat lady sings. Really.

"Standard" starter dose is generally said to be ~25mg but most folk seem to find 40-50mg is nearer the mark. Does depend somewhat on batch though as potency seems to vary quite a lot with aMT for some reason. I do believe both Pagey and Brimz recently sampled "The Rolls-Royce of Psychedelics" for the first time quite recently and both started off in the 40-50mg range. Reports were rather positive but am sure they could tell you better themselves. Is lushy stuff is aMT. Can be a bit hard on the gut - especially the first few times you take it - though which is worth bearing in mind. Usually the nausea/gutrot passes once you've fully come-up but some unfortunate souls spend the whole time heaving from both ends - you have been warned :D

Come-up usually takes at least an hour and usually more like two hours no matter the ROA. Vaped (only possible with freebase) is the quickest at around an hour (which is very counterintuitive for smoked drugs 8() with oral/rectal being nearer two. Duration is ~12h give or take. One of me fave drugs is aMT <3

Oh I know that, Knock. Hence lack of melodrama. It's not that nothing can possibly change cos who knows what's around the corner. It's the fact that there is nothing I can do myself so am stuck with just waiting and hoping for some unexpected, unknowable outside event. Either that or do summat drastic. No, not that kind drastic. Positive kinda drastic. Dunno what though.

me neither, and people on facebook moaning etc very odd week, for me its been very shit, could be so much worse but still very shite. love <3
 
bearlove, im not arguing with you about if there are differences abroad, there quite clearly are - i was simply telling you that i had been talking about british girls. why youd think me discussing things like handing a rose to a girl in my local chemist would be anything other than a domestic thing, i have no idea. i freely admit all my experiences have been with brit 'slims, mostly sunni. dont know why you keep bringing the uae into it


you also have to bear in mind im 28, current mrs is 23 and all the muslim girls ive known in the past have been for the main just that, girls. i wouldnt be surprised if your older friends found it amusing. but teenage hijabis here are invariably shy around guys, partly because they just dont often get into social situations involving lots of overt flirting, partly because theyre always worried about being spotted/rents finding out lol

cheers shams, mate did say about not eating food beforehand actually. just one of those extra considerations which made me think "nah not today". nothing worse than rushing into a trip and having it ruined by extraneous bullshit


normally my stomachs pretty fucking hardcore, but i'll keep a clear route to the bog. probably try for 60 if it comes round again, nice one mate <3
 
^Actually I'd recommend you eat before. Not a big meal, but have something in your stomach. I took it on an empty stomach last time and the come-up was not nice :\

Yeah I took about 50mg and it was perfect. 25mg seems quite low really. I'd start with 40-50 if I were you BHM but don't expect to be in any kind of functional state :)

Also don't take it orally if you can avoid it, that's what I do cuz I can't smoke it and I hate plugging and it makes me really nauseous and usually makes me throw up at some point (just during the come-up). So best not to do it that way.

It probably is or maybe even a local thing tbh - I'm not having a pop at Dudley (as it changes per area of the UK/World) or being disrespectful but the majority of Muslims in Dudley are from Pakistan / India (census in 2001 put the figure at 98 % so I watered down the figure to 60% ). Islam from Pakistan (Practised in the UK) is very different to that practiced across the Middle East countries which I was giving purely as a reference. The reason for this is that its dominated by males - In countries like Bahrain, Dubai for some women wearing a Hijab, Abaya is almost empowering as it gives them 'status' (not all I'm not making a fleeting comment).

I was trying to show you that your view on Muslims based on your experience in the UK was very different (not incorrect) to that of mine based on my experience in the Middle East. If you travel to someplace like Bahrain, you will probably get a surprise as you will see the typical teenage slapper, thick of makeup, big hoop earings, loud mouth etc but wearing a Abaya :D.

I should have maybe explained myself a bit better in my original post so you wouldn't have taken such offense.

bearlove, its cool. i wouldnt trust the census figures too much for dudley btw. but yes, i have noticed the abaya-slapper thing in watered down form via observing immigrants (presumably from pakistan/bangladesh) with hijab, tight jeans and low cut top 8o) i had never thought of it (the uk islam thing) being a male-driven phenemenon - but it makes sense


totally understand about the empowering stuff too. one of the first things i learnt in closely knowing a girl was that wearing the niqab is usually her choice, with the i can see you but you cant see me-thing giving a sense of comfort and of course means they can chuck it on in any old state and cover a multitude of (spotty) sins underneath =D


though i was admonished for enquiring as to the nekkid laydee underneath the burqa thing... apparently its largely myth borne of the perverted male mind :(
 
Ha. There actually is summat rather pleasing about the whole burqa thing at at times. when not forced on anybody and stuff.
