A bad patch? Hahahahahahahahahaha. Read my posts properly Kenny. Bit more than a bad patch.

I didn't see you mention anything, might have missed it. What's wrong? I thought you were supposed to start treatment soon, if I missed any posts you made about this sorry but I haven't been round too much the past week here.

Am I the only one going through a bad patch? Last couple of months have been utter shite and it's looking to be one of the worst summers ever. Wish I could just fast forward to autumn.

You are not the only one, Kenny. Absolute shitter of a summer and nothing I can think of is gonna get any better from now on. Quite the opposite, in fact. It's all downhill from here... and it's not like I'm far up a hill anyway :\

But such things are pretty minor quibbles compared to folk with real problems so will save me bichin' 'n' whinin' for another time ;)

Definitely not the only one. A good friend was in a bad way and I looked after him through Tuesday night until 24 hours ago when he headed home just turned up dead. I'm fucking spewing it.

OMG some real bad shit on here.

I was gonna make some coment about butcher's Scoth Eggs, and how I wouldn't touch a supermarket Scotch Egg again, only to add how sublime they are warm, but that would be ridiculous after reading through the subsequent posts.

hey-ho. Some bits of my life are a bit shit at the moment, it's not all Scotch Eggs and tanned legs.

Hope tings improve/turn around/resolve themselves for all of you. Really.

<3

Previously lost drugs were found. Hidden excellently during a benzo induced stupor.

That's that problem resolved, now to decide whether I'm experiencing a manic episode or benzo withdrawal. This isn't made any easier by the fact that benzos will ease both...

Calling all mathematically inclined :) Haylp needed!!

I'm alone in the house and can't ask on FB or by phone for fear of exposing myself as a thicko.

i'm making a recipe that calls for 700g of rhubarb. I have 1000g. What sum do I need to do to all the other ingredients to scale everything up accurately?

I'm sorry to hear everyones woes. Normally if a friends down i fix it with weed but I'm a good 6 weeks off harvest. But MM and SHM, I'll happily send you a jar of this if it would brighten your day even just a fraction. I made a load last month and it is the dogs danglies

Got rhubarb and ginger jam too if your more sweet toothed, that too is A++++

Moved to leave the other thread on topic.

well if you have friends who would think that racist then you clearly associate with intellectual equals, its semantics and its nothing to do with racism. stop watering down the term

who do you know who wears the niqab regularly? im guessing nobody. girls who wear full makeup plus hijab are a tiny minority, maybe one in twenty if that. this is because it is borderline haram

like i said, equating the culture obvserved on your jaunts round the tourist traps of the middle east to domestic british-islamic culture is pointless. over here the majority take a hardline stance. valentines day is not celebrated amongst practicing muslims. please stop equating your university experience to everyone else. i live in dudley, surrounded by the culture - its not recognised, just as christmas or easter is not. whether its idiosyncratic to the immigrant islamo-culture in the west is debatable, but i doubt its any different in pakistan or saudi arabia. i could get into shi'ite vs sunni minutia, but fuck it. back on topic

Like I said, you literally have no idea what your talking about. You know so much about Muslims that you can state that they do not celebrate Valentines day and you gained this knowledge (and real culture) by living in Dudley. Like I tried to explain to you - to a lot of Muslims it is not about the religious side of things its purely commercial. Do you really believe that a women wearing a Hijab would refuse flowers on Valentines day? Why would they? Are they celebrating St. Valentine - NO they are getting a bunch of flowers.

I think you need to travel a bit - I suggest the Middle East, Check out some of the Malls and then try and tell me that women wearing makeup and a wearing a Hijab is so rare / borderline haram etc. I'll go one step further - even a lot of women who fully cover Nikab etc still wear a lot of eye makeup - to them it is the only part of the body they are showing so they go all out making them look as gorgeous as possible.

You can get started on Sunni / Shi'ite if you wish - or maybe explain to me about the 'real culture' that I may have missed during one of my 'jaunts'.

(I've been doing this wrong then - instead of travelling to the Middle East I should have just gone to Dudley to truly witness the Muslim culture. Would have been a hell of a lot cheaper 8))

Sorry that post is really random but I copied from another thread to 'try' and have a conversation with BHM. He seems to have taken offense at a comment I made about one of his posts, he now wishes to explain to me that I'm a racist and that I have no idea about Muslim's etc.

I got home from work visibly exhausted and pissed off after a really shit day, barely got through the door when my mom hands me a beer without saying anything. Can be nice to visit your parents once in a while =D

How's the job going Pagey?

Okay I guess...I mean yeah, it's super interesting and I have the best colleagues in the world but fuck I don't know how to work that long. I don't get a lunch break so I'm literally at my desk focused from 9 to 7 without interruption. But at least it's itneresting. Plus it's keeping me so busy it's really helping with the whole no more smack thing :)
