I worked for a year in an advertising agency that was doing lots of creative graphic design work, I was doing social media marketing there, but the people who were doing graphics were extremely qualified, apart from the leading graphic who had something like 15 years hand on experience, all the younger ones had 3 years of full time graphic design/software course at the design institute and had done at least 6 months as interns before being hired.

It seems harder and harder to be seriously taken into consideration for jobs unless you have very formal qualifications

I have over 10 years experience making websites, logo's and printed materials. But only completed the 1st year of two separate degree courses. (2 certificates of education I think they are called. One in Digital & Lens Media, the other in Film and media production) I know they mean nothing really..annoyingly

I am hoping I can convince em with my portfolio and wide range of skills (web, identity, and print design. SEO, knowledge of social media, setting up domain names, hosting, emails, ability to use adwords effectively, and use google analytics, CPANEL X, FTP clients, Flash animations, animated gifs, wordpress installation, (creating or skinning/modifying existing themes. Using it as a complete content management system, not just for the blog etc.) Can hand code HTML and CSS too. know about web standards, good coding practices, image optimisation etc. for faster downloading content/less bandwidth usage. Can design sites that are responsive in design, so they look good on all sized devices etc.

Can take photos, or aquire them from stock photo sites; editing them in photoshop if required. Movie capture and editing/uploading; including sound recording/editing.

Basically everything apart from Javascript, PHP, Pearl. (programming side of things) But I know enough to edit existing scripts , depending on the complexity...

I am hoping that I can at least get my foot in the door at some design agency. Maybe I'll have to start off working for free to prove myself, or if they were to pay for my travel. But I'm fairly confident I know what I am doing. It's just getting a chance to prove that...

EDIT: and plan to be able to use InDesign to make interactive books/tablet content too; in the near future.

I must be the only person to get nothing off amt. just an upset stomach, a speedy feeling and a bit of a trippy headspace. No visuals, no MDMA like effects. I might give it another crack soon.

A strong portfolio speaks volumes more than a pony qualification in web2.0 faggotry trust me. Do learn to code at least PHP though it will expand your horizons and make you more employable. Especially if you teach yourself SQL db integration, then you are all set to write the backends that drive websites, whiich is really what all this flowery social media / web2.0 / flash horseshit runs on.

Last week I did 25 mgs oral and got exactly that. Nausea, slight trippy headspace, hyper dilated pupils, no euphoria nor music appreciation, nothing even remotely positive. However very time I vaped it I had a great time, it doesn't hit you right away, it still takes a while to kick in even when smoked but the effects are so much better.

A few summers ago I did a big oral dose but that was very good.

Tangerine they are great - I'm a bit brain dead today so could you explain the Golden Ratio equation for me (not the picture) but the equation? IF your looking for a bit of work (with zero payment other than my eternal <3's) then we really need some updates on PR but can't afford to pay anyone.

That is definately the case in small agencies, however recruitment in bigger agencies is managed by the cancer of today's job market, Human Resources Departments, they look at your profile and if you lack what they deem "minimum requirements" you won't be eligible, no matter how good you actually are. I've seen people's applications turned down because they lacked certficates and formal qualifications even though they would have been fantastic employees, it's unfortunate and unfair, however formal qualifications are what gets you an interview or a trial, no one will know how good you are until you get that call and more often than not you need a fuckload of pieces of paper to get to that stage.

I've never vaped aMT. I've ate it a couple times & it's been utter shite. Spew my pan in around 2 hours in & feel terrible for the next 8 or so.

Vaped is much better, there was a period where I was doing it every day. Orally I've had one very good experience with 60mgs, but there was vaping involved as well, that time I felt shit only for the first couple of hours after that it was great. Low doses though can be very unpleasant with no gains

Yeah I ate it when I didn't like it. I might give it another shot some time vaping it

You like your APB's from what I can gather, so I'd recommend you hit 50mg if you don't do the vaping stuff. Otherwise definitely go lower if you do. 50mg is a good happy, MDMA-esque feel to it with a tad of mushroom like visuals. No trippy headspace at that dose for me though. In fact it hasn't generally given me much in that sense, even in higher doses (maybe down to quality who knows). aMT is a strange one for affecting everyone differently but after I did a tonne of research into a starting dose I was happy I went with the general consensus and did the 50mg (bombed).

Well that's my 2 day back at work finished, so weekend again woo hoo! No more crutches thank god! How goes everyone today?
