^ They're the only ones I've really liked, and actually, Pulp Fiction was really fukkin annoyingly mannered last time I tried to watch it, and had to be turned off.

On the reviews here I have download django unchained... better be good!

You must all like the kill bills?

Agreed for some reason Reservoir Dogs is the only one I can keep on rewatching, don't get me wrong I still sort of like Pulp Fiction in a way, but it does have that typical Tarantinoesque pathetic attempt at being cool, while Reservoir feels more genuine and honest.

All the recent ones I find extremely annoying

Attack took place 200 yards away from an Army Barracks.

Would have presumed plenty of guns, ammo and trained shooters there.
Yet these guys were able to walk around on the streets and give interviews filmed via phones for 14 minutes before Armed Response arrived.

This was the entrance of the Barracks today.
So the question is why were these people not on the streets yesterday afternoon? as soon as the incident occured?

I often wonder if QT's films would be more enjoyable if one didn't have any knowledge of him, because the Kill Bills were ruined for me by a kind of superimposed mental image of him pouting and masturbating all the way through.

edit: OK, I put 'Tarantino masturbating' into Google Images and this was there, and I think it's worth sharing:

Because we're not a military junta (yet) and we have a domestic police force to do the job. Army on the streets to take out a couple of nutty dossers? Give me a break.

Thing is, noone could have stopped that happening because lone wolfs nutters like that are difficult to detect and from the sound of it the victim was dead within moments of the incident beginning.

There is no way in hell this should be used as a justification to start bringing guns into the streets of the uk, we know from america that is just a recipe for an escalating arms race and that sort of thing can't be happening in a civil society, that is just letting the bad guys win, reacting in that manner.

re. the 20 minutes it took for the armed response unit to show up, this is central london man and they had to drive there lol, what do you expect.

True all of these, even that girl from Rochdale has her flabby head screwed on right on this occasion.

And also because they would have run around slotting civilians then made a Gangnam Style video.

What I really wanted to ask you Kenny is how the fuck can you manage gagging down unripe, green poppy pod infusion? Uncured opium is enough to send me on a 48 hour vomiting marathon, you must have a stomach made out of fucking battleship iron to keep that shite down... ugh :/

I eat the fresh poppies. Last week I managed to find some proper somniferum, today I was unlucky though as somebody beat me to the field, I only managed to find papaver rhoeas this afternoon, ate 10 of the small pods and chewed well and they definately boosted my kratom. On their own you can feel a relaxation and mood lift, they are not properly recreational though as they do not have any morphine or codeine inside them, they contain rhodeine which is similar to thebaine, papaverine and other milder alkaloids. On their own they feel more like a weak benzo than a proper opiate, but have very good synergy with kratom.

But what about the safety of the public?
The soldier may have been dead. But nobody knew what the next actions of the 2 nutters would be.

Pretty disgraceful for a civilised society to have to watch a guy with bloody hands talking with members of the public for 20 mins, while a crapload of trained and armed officers live 200 yards away.

We were pretty quick to use the army for Olympic security, and to keep yoof off the streets during the Riots.
Least we could have done was let one of them out of the barracks to get some target practice.

But I thought this bit was brilliant.

For the first time we were getting first hand evidence immediately, directly, from the perpetrators.

Imagine if all you had to go on was 'terrorist attack'. That conjures up an image in your head. And that image is not what we witnessed (almost) live on TV yesterday.

The revolution MUST be televised. I thought it was brilliant.

regrettably that has got to be said, despite how horrific and reprehensible it was, they didn't set out to kill as many people as possible and they weren't targeting civilians, there was no 'collateral damage' unlike a lot of what the west has been perpetrating itself in other countries.

Indeed.

Botched airstrikes and brown corpses don't make for sexy news though, eh?

They could have easily killed those three women and several other bystanders, but still, it's intolerable that dangerous armed men covered in the blood of their victim were allowed to talk to the cameras for twenty minutes in the street of a major European capital. I know at least around here they would have gotten shot by armed civilians, as you would in other countries.

Still I do see the point of targeting a place like London. Their rationale is, your government has brought war to foreign lands, that's what people in Iraq and Afghanistan had to deal with on a daily basis for years thanks to your interventionism and botched foreign policy adventures. Your apathy and political submission have allowed for this to happen, now get a taste of what being in war means. Pretty straighforward

really aswell on the subject of collateral damage, at the end of the day that thing yesterday is collateral damage too, from what our own government has done overseas, and blair and bush deserve a lot of the blame for this.

First paragraph, No.

Second paragraph, YES.

You're a strange one.
