I plan on getting it done somewhere like Florida where there's script-happy doctors, I know over there I'll probably get a month worth of oxycontin if I get a wisom tooth pulled out.

All right for some cor blimey .

The rest of us are worrying if we can afford NHS n Kennys jet setting it to Florida . 8(

I like that no control over face after the injection, it's funny.

Do you i fukin hate it , can't wait for it to wear of makes me dribble all over the gaff !

!

Dude the dentist said I can get it done in a few decades, I don't have to do it now. I hope I'm wealthy enough when I'll need to get the tooth removed.
I obviously can't afford that right now. Still medical tourism is more widespread that one might think

Fukkit. This is not good. Just had an officer from the local court at me door with a notice of eviction. Only just opened the letter from the landlords five minutes earlier warning me about it. Thing is I have no idea what the problem is. They're supposed to be getting payments toward backrent (from when me HB got cancelled for three months cos they lost me off the system switching me to ESA :\) out me giro and the Social informed them that payments are only passed on at intervals rather than weekly. How is that my fault? :\

Not the best start to the day really. Was going to the advice centre tomorrow about dealing with the water folk's latest threat/demand combo but this situation is a tad more urgent. Got a month's notice unless I can convince 'em otherwise. And the fukkers will have charged me for court fees on top of the rent now :!

If you didn't know all ready .

Wisdom Teeth N Football :D

Fuk Smammy . Good job you had that appt. you are going to need it . Surely this can be sorted as like you said it's their fuk up not yours .

Yeah HB is payed in like 6 week lumps from what i can tell through my rent statements. They always get it in the end , in some regards its more reliable than someone paying cash .
Is it a private landlord or Housing association ?

Housing Association, Brimz. And they are well aware of the situation cos it's been going on for over a year now since that benefit screwup. Hopefully it's just a case of lefthand not knowing what the righthand is privvy to cos I - and the advice centre - have spoken to them plenty times getting it all sorted :\

And yeah - lucky I was going down to the advice centre anyway tomorrow. They're usually very helpful down there so am not quite at panic stations yet as it should be sortable. Really dunno what the problem is other than the Social not keeping the landlords informed of what's happening properly so they got cold feet. Not the first time they've blamed me for the Social being tardy with payments but don't know what they expect me to do about it - not like I can set bailiffs on the benefits agency now is it? 8)

Thank fuk it's Housing Association in that case i think you will be ok .

This .

I believe that things happen at times so maybe this came today rather than Saturday there4 giving you opportunity to sort it the moro .

If it was a private Landlord i would advice to start looking for a new gaff but as is not the case i feel that you will be ok . Not the sort of things one needs to live stress free:\ Cos it's so easy on The Dole init .

Ha! Life's a bowl of cherries on the Social <3

Am definitely in a much better position with it being HA property but also know they're sick of the endless hassle getting rent from HB - let alone back money from the Social too. Ah well. Nowt I can do til tomorrow anyway so no point worrying. Not much point worrying anway cos it really is out of my hands - all I can do is remind them who it is that's actually paying them. I never even see the money - social just takes it on their behalf out me giro and forwards it to them. When they can be bothered. It's not like it's even me that owes the money it's fukkin HB that does. Not that it makes a difference other than being bloody annoying. Karma for being so tardy paying me water bill probably :D

I haven't been to the dentist for nearly 10 years when I had to go to hospital and have 4 impacted wisdom teeth dug out.

I clean my teeth 2-3 times a day, but over the years stim use has really taken its toll. Mainly very receding gums, and very ground down, even my front teeth are very visibly ground down, rutted and worn away. enamel is very thin everywhere.

I'm afraid to go to the fucking dentist cos I know once I'm lying back in that chair the dentist is gonna take one look at my teeth gums, and nostrils and , I don't know exactly what the dentist will recommend....stop taking stims, well, thats not gonna happen...will a dentist even treat me if he/she knows I'm just gonna carry on?

i don't think dentists really give fuck tbf. doctors will go on at you but dentists don't really care. In fact, they love it if they need to do a lot to your teeth. cash in the bank

receding gums; where the phrase long in the tooth comes from. happens to the best of us. vitamin c can help.

water and housing problems. i'm getting worked up thinking about these things. i got into terrible arrears with everything 2 years ago

Fuk yeah stim use is the worst . Maybe even on a par with being Scottish when it comes to bad teeth ;)

Your just gonna have to bite the bullet:) n see him one day MM . It'l only get worse .

oh yeah mine is an NHS which is ace in these days n ages

I was lucky to find an NHS dentist down south about a 2 minute walk from my house and they were taking new patients, was a good find as up in Cambridge I was ringing around all over the place and NHS dentists were hard to find and the ones that I did find had like 2 week waiting times for appointments.

Yeah, we've got an NHS one, and I get £100 a year through some work scheme to spend on dentistry, just never use it, cos of THE FEAR. There's a cap on NHS dentistry pricing isn't there? But then I guess there are treatments they just won't give you on the NHS so you're forced to go private for.

I don't know what causes the receding gums thing, the grinding and wearing away enamel is obvious enough....

Yeah, it is slightly different at each dentist, but it goes a little like this

1. £20 - general check up
2. £50 - a filling, some minor work on your teeth or gums and stuff, I think you can get teeth pulled out on band 2 but not replaced
3. £200 - anything else, like a crown, teeth being replaced, veneers, and anything else you can think of that will take a lot of time.

I think they do it based on how much time it will take them.

When the cap on my front tooth came out and it looked horrible, like half a whole front tooth missing I was expecting to pay band 3 for a crown or something but was chuffed that it was only £50 for a filling that is kind of meant to be temporary but so was the last one and that lasted 14 years.

Also normally a visit to the hygienist is about £50 on the NHS

I woulda though that dentists would hate me, I am always forgetting to brush my teeth, sometimes I'll go a few days without a brush, and most days it's only once a day anyway, my teeth are naturally strong though so that does help, I do have a bit of receding gum so gonna try and force myself to remember to at least clean them before bed from now on.

Morning EADD, well it is for me, I like to sleep in late when I've not much to do means the radiators aren't on when I wake up though so it's freezing, gonna go make some eggs on toast then head to the shop.

Ive got a cap on my front tooth, to stick the cap on though they had to cut the old chipped tooth into a V shape (fucking horrible someone cutting away at your tooth whilst shooting ice cold water straight into the nerve, fuck me that hurt) then when it fell off once when I was pissed it looks horrible lol, some cut in half half sawn off tooth.

Anyway I had to have a new cap as it was fucked, charged me £220 thats the top price band. Applied for "help with paying dental costs" form but they gave me 0.

Yum, the jets of water. My favourite part of an extraction is when they say 'there'll be a bit more water now... just a bit more water' when it's blatantly blood gushing out of a socket.

Shit, that sounds horrible, I can relate to the horrible half tooth look though. I actually broke mine for the first time after going over my handlebars on my bike and landing on my tooth when I was 12, it created a pretty much straight cut, my dentist didn't have to do any fancy v shape cutting, he just applied the filling after using some high powered whirly thing that seemed like it was covered in sandpaper to make some of the edges a slightly different shape. Because it was just a filling and didn't take long though it only cost me £50 and that was for the initial appointment and the filling appointment so was a bargain.

Not long after that I started feeling something like part of the glue or something poking out of the back of my front tooth and it was destroying my tongue so I went back to the dentist ASAP to get it sandpapered down or whatever but after a while of figuring out what it was he realised it was a remnant of my milk tooth still stuck in my gum from when it must have first fallen out, was quite amazing actually that it survived that long, it must have been trapped in a pocket of gum and the filling of my front tooth dislodged it, so because it was so close to the previous appointment I got that one on the house :D The dentist here is great.

Blimey. Is nippy out there. But well worth the walk. Just spent £20 at Co-Op and came back with two bulging sacks. Caught 'em just as they were reducing stuff for the second time so was cheap as fuck. Just a shame I've got such a small freezer flap or I could've fed meself ferra fortnight on less than I'd usually spend inna week. Picked up a crate of Carlsberg Extra for six quid too. Bargains all round =D

Nice bargain shopping their shammy :D I used to have to do that sort of thing when providing for myself, miss it actually, would like to be back out somewhere where I buy the food and shizzle. Oh, and is small freezer flap a euphemism? =D
