Haha, nah I didn't call myself mugz, not sure why I didn't type my real name it's been spread around EADD enough times by other people but I prefer to not use it if possible. I used my real name at the meeting, and cheers for the Nice one! :)

I'm good thanks B&W, don't worry, didn't take it personally :) They are not fed up of me, in fact the most important member in any NA meeting is the newcomer (first 90 days or not clean yet) so they are very welcoming and loving and caring actually. It's really working out well for me.

How are you doing?
 
I'm good thanks mugz, well ish. My ex got in touch this afternoon for the 1st time since xmas day and although secretly thats what I've been hoping for I know its not the best thing for me so I've been a bit stressed and lots of good & bad memories have been coming back. I dont want to change my number or freeze him out but he wont stop telling me all the lovely things I've been desperate to hear but make me putty in his hands :(

I'm off to bed now, I can just tell its gonna be a teeth clenchy night :D Thanks for asking m'darlin, I appreciate it. Speak tomorrow I'm sure <3
 
Not particularly nippy here but the heating comes on in the mornings for a coupla hours and only went off a lil while ago so could be deceptive :sus:

Also woke up bloody early this morning - well, 7am anyway - for no good reason. Was knackered all day yesterday and am already a bit tired. Would go back to bed ferra bit but wouldn't sleep so a bit pointless really. And got a coupla things to do today so should probably just load up on caffeine instead.

yeah, our heating timer clicked off at 8.45. It's back on again now.

Mornin, just got to make coffees 3 and 4. And chuck a load of sausages in the frying pan.

Nippy ouside though on my 1st jaunt of the day .

Got DEntist later , he's just come back from Africa where he was doing some good will dentisting .

I rememeber when he 1st started poor lad was nervous as fuk. Obviously he's come along way .

Doesn't stop me being nervous though hate the dentist but tis a necessary evil . My Choppers ain't 2 bad considering . All that Methadone & your teeth will fall out is a bit of an excuse for poor dental hygiene imo .
Obviously it's not great for the enamel but plenty use it as an excuse .
 
I haven't been to the dentist for nearly 10 years when I had to go to hospital and have 4 impacted wisdom teeth dug out.

I clean my teeth 2-3 times a day, but over the years stim use has really taken its toll. Mainly very receding gums, and very ground down, even my front teeth are very visibly ground down, rutted and worn away. enamel is very thin everywhere.

I'm afraid to go to the fucking dentist cos I know once I'm lying back in that chair the dentist is gonna take one look at my teeth gums, and nostrils and , I don't know exactly what the dentist will recommend....stop taking stims, well, thats not gonna happen...will a dentist even treat me if he/she knows I'm just gonna carry on?
 
They'll still treat you mate, it's money for them innit? They'll probably just say some shit about grinding your teeth in your sleep and you'll look all sheepish and promise to floss (UGH) and be out of there in 20 minutes.

I don't trust dentists. I'm sure my one sees things going wrong and leaves them alone in the hope that they'll flourish into more expensive jobs down the line. Well, I'm not sure. I suspect. :sus:
 
Fuk yeah stim use is the worst . Maybe even on a par with being Scottish when it comes to bad teeth ;)

Your just gonna have to bite the bullet:) n see him one day MM . It'l only get worse .

oh yeah mine is an NHS which is ace in these days n ages
 
Isn't crack somehow really bad for your teeth? Admittedly the biggest crackhead I know does a lot of things which make people punch him in the face so it could be that but I'd always assumed it was the crack.
