Farmaz: Saw the first series of Black Mirror but was heavily dissociated so could make little sense of it. Seemed pretty fukkin depressesing at the time. Kindasorta scifi-esque (well "near future" kinda thang) when folks have lil cameras that record everything they see. Or summat like that. Same story from different characters perspectives, from memory. Didn't get on with it at the time but wasn't in the right frame of mind. Most likely worth a watch. First series (only three episodes long) is on 40D's PooToob channel.

As for Terrence McKenna, have noticed his brother's doing more stuff now. He sounds virtually identical when you hear him speak. Doesn't quite have the same charisma but ain't half bad in his own right. He seems somewhat more grounded and less "out there" than Terence at his freakiest. More science-based but still with that quasi-spiritual stuff going on too. Worth checking out.

I really liked the first series, each episode was a separate entity though Shambles, some better than others. As you said they were all quite Scifi/dystopian/satirical. I'm looking forward to catching the new series

Ha! I blame the dissociatives. Could swear they were all the same story from different perspectives. Quite possibly just watched the same one three times in a row given the amount of MXE I was on :D
 
I'm struggling to appreciate that particular fetish Farmaz.

Definitely three self contained stories Shambles. I quite liked them, especially the first episode (PM and pig).

yeah they had a vapourised vodka tent at glastonbury when I was there a few years ago. I was too fucked to notice if it worked or not.
