Yes Ben So I'm deffo gonna be on the phone to them as soon as they open in the morning.
It's so annoying as I can't think of why it hasn't been paid and I haven't had a phone call or letter from them to say they aren't paying me for whatever reason.
I signed on last Thursday so any mail would have got to me by now as I'm in the same small town as the jobcentre.
I hate having to deal with these people.

Ha! Velbon/Head_Funk et al was lucky to last more than an hour or two usually. Could see his bullshit a mile off. Was quite the sport amongst the mods. Wonder if he's actually given up or has learned to not be so bleedin' obvious?

/obvious tempting to start posting again to test out the new mods modskillz

No I know, there's no rhyme or reason to it I'm afraid, get ready to be patronised and made to feel it was your fault on the phone. Try and remain calm even though they will make you want to bite their heads off. Don't expect an apology either.

Alts done really well can still be entertaining for me. God Almighty was ace, hope he sticks around.

.. and Christiano Ronaldo was a sad loss. Such an inspiration ;p

I think I'll take a chill pill before I call them cos if I get angry with them they will only make life more difficult for me.
I'm just beginning to discover how it all works and that the jobcentre staff have all the power and I'm just an underling.
No I certainly won't expect an apology from them. Just pissed off as now I have to spend all night worrying about it.
Will report back tmrw on how I got on with them and if I managed to get my money or not.
 
Ain't just the lack of cash for food and stuff that fucks me off, Ben. Is the fact that when they fuck up it often fucks up yer HB too which is a far bigger problem. Happened to me a year or two back. Three months straight with absolutely nothing. Including HB. Was within 24h of being kicked out of me flat. Even though they paid most of it back they still left me over a grand short on HB meaning even the smallest fuck-up leaves me homeless more or less the next day. Fukkin disgusting. Never their problem no matter what. Even when they admit it was their problem in writing and actually apologise (8o8(8o). Yes. They apologised. But still decided they didn't need to pay that grand back rent :\
 
Of course not, they have lovely cosy, warm, mortgage paid for pads with cupboards full of overpriced food and you are someone who's circumstances doesn't even exist in their world. You were probably faking it and taking the piss in their eyes anyway. :\ Makes my blood boil. Did you ever think to go to a newspaper or anything? Such a shocking story of red-tape, by-the-book bureaucracy bollocks it's mindboggling they should have got a right legal kicking.

Suspect I was one of the worst affected though. Hence a written apology. Is all down to this bullshit of carting off sick/disabled claimants to ATOS (ie the most insanely profiteering and incompetent company on the face of the Earth :|). They simply accidentally deleted all my details and history so didn't believe I existed until I proved I did beyond any shadow of a doubt. And believe me they took some fukkin convincing 8(

At the ol' DSS building you had to go to speak to 'em, collect counter payments, claim crisis loans etc where I used to live they had a donut trolley behind the bulletproof glass. Would just sit there munching donuts staring at you blankly like you didn't exist. For hours on end sometimes. Scum of the fukkin Earth those people. I know they get no end of shit from the scummier elements of the dolebludger masses... but only cos they richly deserve it :!
 
Is Mugz in teh Lounge again already? I skimmed slightly but couldn't be arsed to delve. Ah well. Is not like he doesn't know better.

That aside, am massively pissed off :!

Ketaman has been eight bastard hours already so think I'm safe in assuming he ain't arriving tonight. Wouldn't mind so much as it's not really cost me much of owt... other than being on tenterhooks for eight bastard hours :X

Does my fukkin tits in waiting on promised Goodies that never arrive :\

All is forgiven when ket arrives eventually. Even when it's nearer half-g wraps than actual-g ones as has often been the case :\

Am actually rather surprised. He knows damn well I get me benzo script in tomorrow and get paid the day after (not that I've got any spare cash cos I need to pay me intranetz/phone bill rather urgently... but he doesn't know that :D). He was plastered when I spoke to him though so suspect he got waylaid somewhere along the way 8)
