Sampdragon, don't get straightners to curl your hair, get a babyliss curling wand, or a waving wand. The difference is the size & shape of the barrel you wrap the hair round. Best £20 odd quid I ever spent (on hair stuff).

I vaguely considered getting a loose perm but realised I'd end up a frizzy mess quite quickly as I'm not one for looking after my hair.

I've always fancied GHDs but can't quite believe they'll work! I have kinky wavy hair that has a mind of its own. A good cut works with it, otherwise I need to grow it long so the weight controls it. This last inverted bob thing i've currently got is growing in all "Utopia" Jessica Rabbit...if you watch, you'll know what I mean :D

Haven't a clue how some woman manage to manage that kinda manicured sleek look. Every day I look different, bloody body and hair has a mind of its own 8( Random doesn't not quite describe it..

Cake is much undervalued on a drug forum. Unless you're swigging Gebee I have a tin of condensed milk in my fridge that has been caramelized that sits in wait for G munchies....or a banoffee pie. It's been there for a while now *sighs*

Kate your hair sounds just like mine, those groomed ladies manage that look by spending 2 hours a day wrestling with their au naturel appearance and god knows how many trips to the salon, nail shop, beauty shop. Lifes too damn short, and I dont care that much what people think of me. We've got confidence charisma charm and good looks, we don't need to spend a fortune in time & money and i'm sure our men prefer us like that

If you section your hair properly, don't take too big strands, go slowly and use a smoothing spray I bet GHDs would work a treat.

My Wife always uses straighteners, her hair is always perfect flat and shiny. If I'm honest I think she looks best when shes just got out of bed and it's all unkempt and messy, looks wild. Grrrrr tiger. But she hasn't any volume to it it's very thin but a gorgeous mousy light brown hazely colour, Smashing. Like her eyes, they are very unique they start out green in the middle then towards the outer part the shade changes to hazel. Just amazing.

I just had a mint and it wasn't a nice one, you know, one of those acrid, strong, piercing, mints. I should have spat it out but being so monged out I couldn't be bothered to move to such an extent that I endured the nasty mint as opposed to moving a mere few steps to avoid the mint burn.

I need to sleep soon, been an amazing weekend completely glued to BL for the third day straight. Is this what it's like with a Facebook addiction? I watched my Wife become obsessed with the thing and because of that decided I didn't want one for myself for that very reason. I'm not anti Facebook or anything and I just use my Wife's profile to keep up with friends and the like, sometime feels like a joint account. She's much better at organising my life than I was or ever will be anyway.

I totally agree, I'd rather spend the time in bed sleeping than putting on the full bhuna slap. I do "groomed" for work but its pretty pared down and as I age that seems to be very acceptable professionally. All good for me. I much prefer my sleep and bed head cuddles with him in doors :D

Gardens = nails 8( just doesn't compute does it lol.

I've not had shortish hair before but I'm liking it now, especially since it kinda likes to do its own shape thing with the curl. It's growing old much more gracefully than I am! haha I like my new "old" look

i usually leave my crimper or hair straightener on the door to heat up while me and the girls are getting dressed to go out on tiles taking line off coke in between soing our hair and makeup sheesh gives me a pain in my sporran thinking of going outside without my face on

I guess so, its very compulsive but so useful. twitter is as well but i avoid using it, tweeting shit all day to gain followers random followers and all that seems a bit crazy

he is a likeable bloke thres no question i would get on with him but genuine.....not even remotely attention seeking constantly and inventing dramas to feed off peoples anger and praise is far from being upfront and genuine
