Terry Lee Brown JR made some blinding records too, very alien abstract house which still sounds pretty fresh now. Funky as heck.

Terry Lee Brown Jr was a decent listen as well.

The End and Escape from Samsara were some of the best nights out in London back then, as well as the one on thursdays just off oxford St where Marco Carola used to spin, I forget the fucking name, think it was called Propoganda ?

The End sounded like a great club, was gutted that it closed before I got a chance to go. Laurent Garnier's set from one of the last nights (possibly the last night) is banging.

I don't know owt about the political situation in Bulgaria at the moment so I'll look up what's been going on.
If it's a set up then they could have threatened him to look as though he were trying to assassinate him, but if not then he bought a very cheap Chinese replica or something - Could purely be a very untimely jamming of the gun.

Quite happy he didn't get his head blown off if his role as leader of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms party is correct!

I was at Escape From Samsara all the time in 99/00 :D. If you remember anyone dancing really, really badly in a Ramones t-shirt, that was me ;)

Bollocks was that a set-up. Why would he have been carrying two blades as well if it was fake? The gun clearly jammed, you see him frantically trying to cock it before all those old-ass politicians swarm in & boot fuck out him. I saw the clip when I was on the train on Saturday afternoon, the dude getting some digs in with his briefcase had me in stitches.

Was just humouring those who assumed as such.

And aye =D It's quite ammusing how few of them get any good shot on the cunt hehe 8)
Though I reckon he'll get nooooooo end of being kicked the shit out of in prison.

One of these FACKIN days, when I've got enough cash in the bank that I can just spend a day getting baked and pissing around instead of flipping out about bills and tax and all that shit I'm going to make a vinyl mix and it will have some of that Terry Lee Brown Jr stuff on it... I've got a few of his EPs from the mid 90s and they are class. Brother For Real was a good one, although it might have been an album. Can't remember.
