I'll give it a go if I see it about. I smoked Old Holborn for years because my dad used to buy shitloads of it from a guy in the pub. I could handle the regular version so the smooth should be alright.
 
Pall Mall 10g for £2.99, out of the cheap baccy I like it alot, sure better than that Chinese crap Mr Gupta the Tobacco merchant of death sells, we call his strange brands "party poppers" as the baccy is in long, string like bits.

Worst ever has gotta be Bayside from Asda, tastes like smoking........something evil.
The Skogen Hekse ex said she would mail me a 50g of Rød 3 for my B'day which I am looking forward to, if they are out of it I am getting some Petteroes 3, I can see Knock trying to trade his Snus with me via PM now =D

We got a Dickensian looking dude round here that sells Cough" Amber "cough" Leaf look exactly like the stuff you described n tastes fukin rank . You can tell it ain't treal b4 opening it cos it ain't pressed like it should be .

i was once grabbed by a fit young grl during my work lunchhour. Unfortnately it was only to test various flavours of orange juice. It was £10 for 10 minutes "work". You've got to be at the right place at the right time for those things.

its the daftest/riskiest/most badly calculated thing ive done for some while. The stregth seems to about the same as the last batch 2mg to 1 ml. With my next batch Im gonna record the doses and on a pc file notepad doc or something so i dont make this mistake again. I'll be ready to start my taper by then, so obviously its important to know how much Im taking. The other good thing is that you can easily reduce from 25mg to 7 or 8mg,(unless youve been on 25mg for several months/years or someting). Judging by the way i lost my legs last night and slept for 12 hours after seleeping about 6 hours during the day, i think i can assume the new mix is a bit stronger. As soom as Im off Bupe Ill start reducing, well maybe a week or 2 after.

After sleeping on it i suspect waht i might have done is make a triple strength 3mg to 1ml dose. Damn myself for being too lazy to weigh what was left in the bag and just assumning it was 400 mg.Those dose felt about the same. Somehiw ive come out of it ok, and can adjust the dose if i find myself sleeping too long or not sleeping well atall.

The next batch must be must more serious as thats when im gonna start tapering down on the stuff.

In slightly better news ive still got a couple of methylphendidate 5mg pills left. They are so strong ! Apparently even stronger if you snort them, as soon as ive had some breakfast and let it digest i bit, ive got to get a shit load of washing up done properly and well, as its been there for weeks, and also have to find a car insurance company that accepts monthly installments.

It's worth a try Sammy G, it's the first thing I go for when I am in the shop, failing that I go for the Gold Leaf.
I must have a good 15 packs of extra Rizla in my flat from Gold Leaf.

I know what you mean brimz, the most comical Mr Gupta had was this Golden Virginia rip off which I called "Grotty Vagina" the packet felt like it was dipped in candle wax & the baccy burned all strange.

I am sure in a few years people that smoke that stuff are going to end up just dropping dead, smoking that rip off crap actually made me spit blood before several times. Though I am always on the look out for cheap baccy I draw the line at some of the stuff that is for sale around here.
Even in jail you get given 12.5gram when you go in & it aint that deadly crap, want to punish people locked up, make 'em smoke these fake brands & keep the decent baccy for us lot that are free imo.

But y'know, the prognosis isn't all that great for those of us who are sticking to the real stuff. Which is full of enough adulterants in itself. I say that as someone who hasn't even made a halfhearted attempt at quitting since 1996.

Punish criminals by making them smoke counterfeit tobacco? A novel approach, that's for sure.

I don't know if anybody knows for certain, but I remember there was the usual media speculation about it being imported by central and east European gangs, that kind of thing. There are underground brands as well as counterfeit versions of popular brands.

I think there's a lot of scaremongering led by both the government and the tobacco companies (probably colluding, if you can imagine such a thing); they always tend to lump in smuggled tobacco and cigarettes with counterfeit tobacco, making it seem like 'black market' tobacco is the problem. When pretty much every smoker I know has been buying 'black market' tobacco of some variety or other for years.

Though apparently counterfeit cigarettes/tobacco have been analysed and found to contain far higher levels of certain toxic and carcinogenic chemicals than the legitimate product they're emulating.
 
Pall mall's alright for the money, surely you guys have dodgy polish shops near you that sell em under the counter? 50g/£9 for amber leaf, cutters choice/GV here now, even they're getting kinda expensive. Or dodgy snide stuff, £3/50g, still smokable mind :), only unsmokable snide stuff ime has been off dodgy chinese fellas.
 
There's definately counterfeit cigs out there, the stuff they sell on market stalls here in the Middle East isn't the same you buy in the shops, the packaging looks different, the actual materials are different, in august when I was in Lebanon I smoked both some Marlboros that were bought in the airport free shop and a pack bought at the market, they were hugely different. The filter wasn't the same, the cardboard for the box was lighter to the touch and mostly the taste was completely off in the market ones.
 
Marlboro are a very premium brand. If you try the cheaper brands like Winfield (do the ys till do those?) the filters are badly made and attached,a llow air to flow straight around them, and the brown paper isnt even level) If thats the best proffessional manufactureres can do id hate to think what the fakes are like.

Yeah, but how dangerous is the smokeable snide stuff?

At least with the unsmokeable snide stuff there's a deterrent from smoking it, but if your £3/50g stuff contains even half the extra shite that it's made out to contain, then you're likely to get yourself in trouble smoking it long-term. Which brings us neatly back to the fact that all tobacco is carcinogenic. Fuck. :D

Like I said, I'm not sure how much government / Big Tobacco scaremongering is behind the reports of counterfeit tobacco's elevated levels of nasty stuff, but it's enough to make you think twice.

Some of the stuff I've seen is a real punishment, I can only imagine having to do a few months or even years with that as the only choice.

I tried 'em once & never again.
I remember as a kid when the YSL came out (yeah Yves Saint Laurent) which all the "posh" kids used to smoke.
